I have a five pound laptop with a 13.3 inch screen, I can pop it into my backpack anytime and it feels like just another book, I can play it on planes and such.

Interest! I got KOTOR to run on my desktop and it has only 256 ram and intel p4. It runs with zero lag. Should run better on eee pc when it comes in the mail!

did u edit the games .ini file to get this good performance? i have the same system but im not getting as much fps as you are.

no, i didnt edit anything.. try to scale down the graphics in the game menu

How did you get this to work? I installed the game on my Eee PC 900HA, and it won't run. Keeps giving errors...

It was too hard to tell, it was in garbled text. However, I managed to pinpoint the problem.

Well this is the icing on the cake. This convinced me to get a netbook. I got the Acer Aspire One XP Version. This, Half Life 2, and Vice City were all I needed to see. I appreciate the videos. I will be putting Acer Aspire One gaming videos up a little after christmas. Thanks again for the inspiration!

I really doubt Half-Life 2 would be fun to play with 10FPS.

Set DX to 7, and you can get 20+ in most areas
