There is a way to cut the rise time down to 40 mins instead of 12 hours. While your mixing the bread heat the oven to low, and boil a pot of water. When the dough is mixed and the water boiling, turn off the oven put the boiling pot in the back of the oven and put the dough in a covered bowl and close the oven. In 40 mins it will have proofed and you can bake it. Makes perfect bread.
This is so cool. I made the bread and its good. I love the ease of it. I have been spreading the recipe around. I will make it every week. If there are any other recipes out there that are thiseasy to make bread post them please !!!!!
@mloulane This is the one we make most often: 4 cups white flour 2 cups wheat flour 1 heaping TBSP Yeast salt 3 cups warm water Mix well and let rest for 15 minutes use dough hook in kitchen aid mixer on low for 5-10 minutes or kneed. Let rise until double, up to 1 1/2 hours punch down and split into 2 loaf pans Let rise until double, up to 1 1/2 hours again Bake 365 40-45 minutes top with butter as soon as the loafs come out.
This is an awesome video and you are an awesome young man. I have never seen anything like this. I may try to do it but don't know if I can do it like you.
I don't know where the video is but here is the recipe to make two loaves. It's 6 cups of flour, 4 cups of water, 1 heaping TBSP of yeast and salt to taste. Rise until double, split in 2 & knead, rise again for an hour to hour and a half, bake at 365 for 40-45 minutes. I also like the video by mistercanning
You are amazing Fin. I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work. Now, I feel that I can make some bread like yours. Thanks for posting this video.
My 3 year old son is enjoying watching your movie over and over! He loves mixers and is so impressed that your mom and dad let you use yours all by yourself. Maybe one day soon we will make a video of Isaac baking to share with you! Great job on the bread!!!
@jenniferinsanee , It's HERE COMES THE SUN by THE BEATLES! One of the best bands of all time! My kids are huge Beatles fans, got them the Rock Band Beatles for Christmas.
Great job, Fin! Up until now I just wasn't sure I would ever be able to bake a nice loaf of bread. But you know what? You're a natural teacher, you made it look so easy and simple that I sure am on my way to give it a try.
Thanks for the inspiration! And, oh, yeah, congratulate your Mom and Dad for me, they seem to be doing a fine job bringing you up!
congratulation Fin you are super , you are better than me and I have 40 years more than you , I learn so easy to do the brad ! your parents must be very proud of you.
Wow Fin! I didn't know you were such a good cook! you'll have to make me some bread next time I come to Lowell! I will have to let my kids try your recipe....you make it look so easy! Looking forward to more of "Cooking with Fin"! Lynnie
