  • "We are the way to the cosmos know itself." C. Sagan

  • 2:16, it's the other way round: the physical controls us! ultimately so at death.

Must technologies transform our future?? I don't think so. Look around what technology is doing to animal kingdom, nature, earth, and ourselves...

What will nano particals do in our environment.... Already many organisms die of plastic particals

at first we must make sure everyone can live a dignified life. What does it mean to manipulate one atom when others have nothing to eat? What morality is that?

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 Groeten! Several issues you raise there.1st of all, I take for a fact that technologies have ALREADY transformed our future. What we are experiencing now, some people once called it "the future", and in many aspects, we all do not like a lot of things that have taken place. But this is not the fault of technology itself. Instead, its bad USE is to blame. Throwing atomic bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a human CHOICE. It was not the ONLY way to go for that type of energy.

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 As for the physical world's control over man, ultimately expressed by death, any type of disease or sickness (cancer or Altzheimer etc) can be viewed as natural, so according to you, there's no need for technology to research the fields necessary to "cure" them and thus "escape" death (a natural phenomenon) by means of prolonging life expectancy. You may say that the Earth is too small to carry immortal people, but maybe there will be other planets to inhabit in the "future"!

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 As for the ethics in manipulating atoms when some of our brothers are starving, you may ask yourself if this might also be a deliberate human CHOICE (not yours or mine, of course). This way, it's very convenient for some people to have things Made In Malaysia/Taiwan etc, where some people work like slaves for bread, but you get a new mobile phone that costs hundreds of euros in Europe or USA.Trust me,there's enough methods/energy to produce food to go round for everyone but...

  • @dukethegrey groeten ook! I agree it isn't technology in itself that is the problem, it is human nature. Therefor I suggest each take a Self-honest look inside self to see what we have accepted and allowed ourselves to exist as. Facing self, as the thoughts running around the brain, the reactive feelings and emotions, generated from thoughts/images/memories. All patterns of behaviour. We actually exist as organic robots, we are technology ourselves. All functions are automated.

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 Goedemiddag vanuit Thessaloniki! (I like our conversation here, we've got things going somewhere now) OK, taking a deep look at ourselves will tell us we have all become some kind of monsters, one way or another, for some to a greater degree than others. But even if we realise this (because I'm sure that not all people are trained to judge their own selves, only others), it's just not enough to say to ourselves "Oh, God, look at what I have become, I must change now"!

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 Sadly enough, there have been so many mass manipulation techniques developed, that we unconsciously or even consciously accept things "fed" to us. I think your word "automated" like robots is not exactly accurate. We are "programmed" massively through a number of things, like advertising , that convinces you that you need a new pair of shoes, because that's in fashion now, but your older ones are just fine! Please watch on youtube "The Century of the Self-Happiness Machines"

  • @MartijndeGraaf1001 Unfortunately, someone has been manipulating our thoughts, reactive feelings, emotions that you mention, by decoding how the patterns of behaviour work before we do. The trick is that you do not even know that somebody's messing with your brain, therefore, looking inside ourselves will only expose symptoms, like X-rays do, for example. The "cure" is education and information (the one that's hidden from us), in order to deliberately and meaningfully prevent our "programming".

  • @dukethegrey that's right,.Such education and information I find @ Desteni.co.za
