Overweight doesnt always equal unhealthy. I have been heavier for years. My highest weight was 301 and i am 293 now. My blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and all that are excellent. My doctor has never EVER told me loose weight ur health is in danger. That hasnt happened. They say im what they call a healthy big person. Lmao! I have gotten blood tests (because I have a mild case of narcolepsy) and it always comes out normal for all things from my sugar levels, etc. My blood pressure always comes out normal and I'm a plus size girl. Even my doctors tell me I'm healthy (other than my sleeping problems.) They have NEVER asked me to lose weight, EVER!
I feel you on this. I'm a big dude and I have gotten a physical every year and my Dr. constantly tells me that I am extremely healthy and all of my numbers are where they should be. He does say I should lose weight because as I get older it can become an issue but right now I'm pound for pound as healthy as the dude in the gym everyday.

And believe me, saying that to fifteen-year-old does a lot more damage than having six extra pounds of fat ever could. There are great doctors but also unbelievably shitty ones.
