  • is this worth doing did it hold up or chip fast how long did it last

  • @dwai94 So far it's been fine.

  • How much paint for frame?

  • @jettastreetracer 2 cans or so

  • i dont have acces to a power washer so how would i get the cripsy paint off rubing garden hose?

  • @01boneless It it gets soft enough you should be okay. Might have to scrub the tight spots a bit.

  • how much for the stripper, paint, and clear coat total?

  • @avzeolla I think they were $6 each. I went through 2 or 3 cans of the stripper, 1 can of paint and clear if I remember correctly.

  • i have a yamaha yz125 2004 do you think this stuff could remove rust at all?? or would i half to grind that off

  • @BikerFail16 Have to grind it off. It just takes off paint.

  • @Johnnysshop ok thanks

  • i have a yamaha yz125 2004 do you think this stuff could remove rust at all??

  • is this can stuff able to be sprayed on farings? i got a 1992 fzr 600 sportbike that a kid repainted and did a horrible job!! its got runs all over it i was wondering if this is safe to use on fiberglass and plastic??? i need to find a easy altinative than sanding it all down a risk cracking a faring cause of pressure i put on the farings.....its an older bike gotta be gental

  • @killerfishthensum1 I wouldn't try it. The best bet would be to scuff the panel down with 3m pads and use adhesive promoter for the paint.

  • how much does aricraft stripper cost? just like a normal can of spray paint or what? and also how did you move it to the power washer without getting paint scraps everywhere and do you have to clean the paint up or will it just go down sewer drains?

  • @happywombatproducts It's comes in a paint style can. About $6... I just grabbed it with a pair of rubber gloves and sprayed in the yard. It didn't harm the grass or anything.

  • @Johnnysshop see i was thinking rubber glvoes would help but one of my friends has used this stuff before and he says it eats through the rubber and can leave some nasty burns

  • @happywombatproducts After it's done it's job of stripping it has lost a lot of it's power.. Still thick rubber gloves...

  • @Johnnysshop will do, thanks for the info

  • how much does aricraft stripper cost? just like a normal can of spray paint or what?

  • can you give me a list of products used for the end product?

  • @crfrt1237 All engine paint products. Primer, Paint and clear. Duplicolor Engine Enamel. Semi-gloss black.

  • @Johnnysshop what was the stripper couldn't tell? and is that everything from start to finish?

  • @crfrt1237 Aircraft Stripper (spray type). After you strip it, sand the frame down or Scotch Brite it to rough up the surface to allow the primer to stick better.

  • Do you think this product would work with surface rust also? I just stripped my bike down, and was about to blast it when I saw this video... Thanks! ~Junior

  • @jrsride2002 No, you'll still have to knock the rust down with a wire wheel.

  • omg that shit just landed on your cars

  • @davison1021 Nope...

  • im using the stripper now and it takes up a lot but its not getting all of it is there a hint or did u have some blue still left on?

  • @Crockrohr2 For the really tight areas or if it's really baked on use a wire wheel brush. I had to use one in the tight areas. Stuff works like magic for the most part doesn't it?

  • was your subframe blue originally? and in the end it looks silver.

  • @Crockrohr2 Yeah, just bare metal at the end.

  • does this work on powder coating too?

  • @diesel5355 I've used it on it in the past. Probably depends on how thick the coating is though.

  • Could You Use The Aircraft Stripper For Plastic Dirt Bike Fenders??

And is the Klean-Strip Air Craft Paint Remover Aerosal Can The Same Thing As The Aicraft Stripper You Used???(Does It Work The Same??

  • @WESST310 No, the stripper will probably eat the plastic. The Klean-Strip should work the same.

  • @Johnnysshop Oh orite thanks!

  • what is that stuff called?i wanna search it on google but didnt find anything.it sounded like you said "aircraft stripper".is that right?like what should i type in google to find

  • @skatejordan12 Aircraft Stripper. I got it from Advance Auto

  • awesome video i subbed

  • do you jump your bike

  • @rm125rid3r I will!

  • weres ur shop at

  • @rm125rid3r Oh, just tinker in my garage. I don't do this for a living.

  • @Johnnysshop you really should make a living out of it cus ur good at this stuff

  • @rm125rid3r Thanks! I wish, just doesn't pay what the I.T world does..

  • @Johnnysshop Dude, you sound like an IT guy! lol thats cool though. you should love what you do, you shouldn't do what you love!

  • @ultrarunner0476 LOL.. Just wish the mechanical stuff paid more!

  • What. Part 1? From what I see on your channel, it goes all the way up to part 80!

dgsgsdhdfngfjnghsdgsdfvgsdgfdhbdhngfjgfjfdfj Must embrace to watch/hear you assembly the parts onto the bike...

  • @BumsandTightpants LOl.. The rebuild and teardown vids are combined 120 or so.

  • I like the hindsight advice about the hand/eye/respirator. ;) I have a 2003 YZ250 I am on the fence about powder coating vs. painting. I used the same spray redoing some car wheels today and I think the brush-on might be lot more cost effective and seems to work better. Thanks for the vids!!

  • @Vanderkitten I was on the fence big time but a buddy had his powder coated and although it lasted awhile it did chip and there was really no way to repair it.

  • were did you get the paint stripper?

  • @77toyota Advance Auto

  • @johnnysshop Hey i can still see the welder :)

  • @steveo928 LOL, yeah it's collecting some dust right now.

  • This is going good. My bike will be a bit behind for i just bought a CR 125 2 stroke and im going to be stripping it and painting it this week. So by request can u do a small video of goooooooood cleaning products with sample vids and where u can get the products. And i mean for like engine cleaning, paint stripping, cleaning difficult areas. etc

  • @fearlessgod1 Will do. I'll try to get it up tomorrow for ya. I kinda wish I would have went with another 2 stroke because of the pricey 4 stroke motor rebuilds. I knew it would be crazy expensive, I just wanted to try a 4 banger for once.

  • @Johnnysshop Alright sounds good. Ty im working on my CR 125 now. Its looking good. Wish i was recording it but im uploading pics.

  • @fearlessgod1 I'll keep a look out for the vids..

  • I suggest when you go to primer get sem aresol high bulid primer surfacer can pick it up at any autobody supply shop it wil fill in any minor imperfections they even have a primer for plastics just thought id let you know that

  • @86camaromike Sweet, good to know! I think the stuff I got is high build, the frame is actually really smooth.

  • nice to see a update

  • @dmaheryfz450 Yeah, can't wait to get into the big stuff...

  • @Johnnysshop best part of any build is the first fire up

  • you vids have helped me out soo much. thanks man!

  • @speeddemon157mph Thanks, glad I could help!
