A presentation about NIST's response to the disaster claims there is a "critical and urgent national need" to "establish the probable technical causes of the collapses and derive lessons to be learned", but, prior to the publication of their Final Report on Collapse of the World Trade Center Towers in late 2005, none of the materials on the NIST site even mentioned the possibility that the collapses were caused by controlled demolition.

There have been dozens of articles published by structural engineers in engineering journals all over the world, and each one of them said the towers collapsed from plane impacts & fire. Every article on #7 said it was fire that caused the collapse. No exceptions.

i have no clue how anyone could look at all of the FACTS that are known and were reported in mass media and found in (the Fema BPAT Appendix C, ('evaporated 'corroded' steel beams) the USGS, RJ Lee (Iron rich spheres) w/re 9/11 and not realize explosives were used and that the entire thing was staged as a pretext to war.

Gene Corley, leader of FEMA's Building Performance Study, testified to the House Science Committee about the need to further investigate the performance of buildings that were damaged or collapsed on 9/11/2001. With his own study almost finished, Corley stated that it would take $40 million to adequately study the issue.

No explosions were heard outside the bldg, period,.

U know what the problem was? Bad building maintenance. Architects miscalculation & probably when they build the building, bad materials were used.

All i know is buliding 7...The building with official CIA, FBI, and Wallstreet documents in it, had puddles of molten metal below it. All that happened at that building were a few office fires....????

There was no pancaking they were blown up, huge chunks of metal flying hundreds of feet in the air concreteand glass reduced to someting you could breath in !!

Say the same about building 7; why would it pancake? The damage on it was not from the top. It was not hit by a plane and had only minor fire. So, you are saying by your pancakin theory that this building started to spontaniously pancake from the top?

frozendancicle, So, if you say the building pancaked, where do you see all the floors stacked up on the ground? Do you think pancaking would pulvarise concrete to dust? Do you think pancaking woould melt heavy structural steel or cut it into short pieces? Think Dude! Wake up and please when you do, take your turn to wake up somebody else.

When a building pancakes it falls into iteslf. The uppermost floors sustain damage to the point that they can no longer bear the weight of the floors above them and they fall into themselves, then the floors below can no longer take the added weight and collapse as well until the whole building has fallen into itself. It wouldn't fall sideways in that scenario which is what 911 was. The people who flew the planes into the buildings, ie terrorists, were the murderers!
