  • Perfect instrument!

  • Correct tuning appreciated very much; nice work on the pump and reservoirs.

  • Response to comments on keys and repetition. The Unika has a bellows that locks the keys when the roll plays, thus making it impossible for any person to spoil the performance. Regarding repetition on player pianos with moving keys, there IS a very small degradation of repetition when the keys are permitted to move. This is because of the increased inertia of the moving system. Some pianos have rear weighted keys so they are designed not to move.

  • Without the front on you can see what a fabulous piece of engineering it is - beautiful.

  • How Come The Keys Dont Go Down?

  • on european instruments they keys hardly ever go down.... not even on player pianos

  • The piano will repeat more quickly with the keys locked like that.

  • I will have to correct you on that one, as it has nothing to do with repetition, this because the keys are not physically connected to the piano action

  • But it can help the repetition. On my player when I lock the keys, the repetion is better. Why?

  • This is an incredible sounding instrument!

  • great Unika.... do you have any vids with the front on? the pipes sound even better then I think

  • Petit cachotier...

  • Et en plus, à cause de toi. J'étais frustré de voir comme tu manipulais tes videos alors que cela me semblais impossible.
