I can't imagine what a song for C would be like. I don't know if there's any means for him to be up for it to top this as a tribute to the biggest man you've ever seen. I can't think of another song I'd rather hear or have played at a funeral.
I loved "Magic" when it was first released, and was lucky to attend my first (!) Springsteen concert when I turned 50 yrs. old. A year later, my older brother died suddenly. It was, and still is, devastating to me and my family. As we prepared to say good-bye to him, I grasped onto this song to help me with my grief. His birthday is 6/22, and so I dedicate this song to him...love you and miss you so much, Joe...descanse en paz.
