Hahaha this phone vs EVO 4G lol

On Expansys for £99, I'm about to buy one, but surely there's a catch at that price

No catch- the company has closed but the phone is good and there is enough support out there. I bought one. I was looking for a blackberry 9700 but this wasn't worth the £350 my usage. My imate came with windows mobile 6.1 loaded so I was able to fit a 4 gig. The keys are a fiddly -not as good as most Blackberrys- but with the 8502 you get used to this quite quickly and have key, finger touch or stylus touch options. I use the stylus for most things and the keys for general word typing.

cont'd. The internet works great with wifi or 3G. it comes with mobile Office and there are quite a few decent apps to download to so the phone is versatile. The only downside is no FM radio. Pretty much a steal at £100. £350 for BB 9700 of £100 for imate? (I've used both). A no brainer - the BB is easier to use and probably better but not £250 better.

I got the 8502 with work - don't recommend it for Ladies- I find its way too big for my hands and Ive dropped it several times trying to use the wheel whilst walking- also the screen is really hard to keep clean whilst in my hand bag or using with face makeup- I do have a case - but when you need to use it on a regular basis it can be really annoying - blackberry is better smaller & cheaper!! wish my "male" boss would listen!!!! other then that is has everything! cheers-

I bought this when I was in Singapore early in March at the IT Show 2008. It is one VERY STABLE and BUGS-FREE device. Good job to i-MAte which took its time to test the device before selling releasing it for sale!

lol at these people hating ..... everyone knows that the 9502 is the best phone on the market its a sidekick for adults!!! when u see someone with it in person your goning to look at your sidekick lx or slide like its trash hahhaha and i have a sk3 so im not hate'n on sidekicks i just know the 9502 is a monster!!! u know im a get one !!!

Definably the 8502 and 9502 are great phones, but when will they be on sale, even the $800+ price tag is not enough for i-mate I guess. It is must for anyone who is data dependant, like me who trades ForEx and needs a Windows platform to run MetaTrader. Just the data features and the video camera make it worth the money. The extra screen size is a definite plus. So i-mate team please make it available soon (without bugs of course)!!!
