I like how she held her aching back at the end. I do the same thing after a balance in attitude, though I'm not even a hair's close to her. At least that's a motion and feeling universal to all dancers :)
OMG and I thought that Viviana Durante was perfect; now I'm going to have to save up to come all the way from Durham to see her in the next production of Sleeping Beauty. Can't wait, she is my favourite classical ballerina.

Everyone else like is this was normal, looking at the papers, going to somewhere...and this one like if she has put superglue on her pointe....like if she was doing nothing... try to do it and see how difficult and painful it is!!! Alina I love u!!!
AMAZING!!! I saw her Sleeping Beauty at the MET. After her 3rd devloppe in the Rose Adagio, she let go of her partners hand and held the position for longer then i've seen any ballerina hold it. You could her everbody in the audience gasp. She was amazing
the amazing part is that she came down from the balance because she wanted to... not because she was falling.. and the fact that she balanced for an eternity hahah
Omg that's insane!!! She is incredible. i luv how they were having a contest and he was gonna mess up her balance that was adorable. Haha but her balance is to die for!!!

I just saw her at ABT this weekend in "Sleeping Beauty". She was absolutely breathtaking! The audience went wild.
