Actually, Egypt was very prosperous back then. They had less people living there to support as opposed to today. Plus, I'm sure the governmental and monetary policies were much different, as there wasn't as much needed at that time. They lived pretty simple compared to today. @bigrigJim no data needed. the pyramids have never been duplicated, and can never be with today's technology. how can you lift an 80, 000 kg (80 tons!!!) block on top of a pyramid? Make that 2 million which make up a pyramid. Even though there are larger block on bottom, smaller blocks on top. With today's technology you just can't. There is no helicopter or lifting device to lift even ONE block, I am not even talking about 2 MILLION blocks!!!

Step 1: Level out the sand where the pyramid is going to be built. Do this so that the base of the pyramid will be even. This will make the base more stable.
Step 2: Make stone blocks from the Nile River. Do this by gathering clay from the Nile River and shape it with a trowel so that the sides of the blocks will have a flat surface.
Because of the clear separation of every block, the blocks were obviously already formed and hard before they were used to build the pyramid. Lifting those blocks to that altitude to pile them on top of each other would've been impossible without some unknown technology.
Step 4: Put the blocks together to form a square base. Do this by taking the blocks and putting them side by side to make one of the pyramid’s layers look like a square. To hold the blocks together, put mud between them and let it dry. Drill holes into the blocks and put pegs into them to hold the blocks together. Do this just in case the dried mud does not hold the blocks together

20 years of building the pyramids... What if they do'n mean the entire pyramid. The inside of the pyramid if radically different (way larger stones were used and more perfectly cut) than the outside. What if the inside is way older and was a building of itself in that time. Then later it was turned into/covered by a pyramid shape, perhaps within 20 years, perhaps around 2500 BC. That would make more sense.

Step 1: Level out the sand where the pyramid is going to be built. Do this so that the base of the pyramid will be even. This will make the base more stable.
Step 2: Make stone blocks from the Nile River. Do this by gathering clay from the Nile River and shape it with a trowel so that the sides of the blocks will have a flat surface.

Because of the clear separation of every block, the blocks were obviously already formed and hard before they were used to build the pyramid. Lifting those blocks to that altitude to pile them on top of each other would've been impossible without some unknown technology.

20 years of building the pyramids... What if they do'n mean the entire pyramid. The inside of the pyramid if radically different (way larger stones were used and more perfectly cut) than the outside. What if the inside is way older and was a building of itself in that time. Then later it was turned into/covered by a pyramid shape, perhaps within 20 years, perhaps around 2500 BC. That would make more sense.

It was not built by Egyptians they tried coping it by building the other 80 and look how good they turn out.
