I loved when I first saw this, just how much of a prototype it was. Even down to the "A phantom!" And "Brutes!" lines from Cortana. I'm glad that, even though they didn't use this, we still get to see it. Would be cool in future games to have it as a bonus map/mission, or some type of unlockable after playing heroic or legendary.

When I was about 8 or 9 I remember watching this in Halo 1's Extra Content and I always (Not understanding what this gameplay was) wondered what level it was in the campaign but I could never "find" the mission. Then later on I found out the truth, I was sad.

i remember first seeing this when it came out in utter awe. couldn't believe the visuals and details especially in the explosions. I wish Microsoft never rushed Bungie, or this game would've been so much better.

I also wish that Bungie would make a copy of this "Second Halo 2" and sell it, or if they haven't, they should finish it up. I would also wish that Bungie could make the Halo DS, which had so damn good graphics. If Bungie were to go through with all of their projects, and/or just make the unfinished ones and add new things to the games, the would be RICH. I wish this level was longer. :(

if you listen to the BR it only sounds like its firing 1 shot. now look at some of the vids about the weapons in halo reach... it looks like they might be bringing a gun like that back. maybe it was originally intended to be like a hunting rifle but then they turned it into a burst fire gun. for whatever the reason, i just hope that they dont ruin halo. the BR is just to much of the main stream gun. in my opinion

Then the game came out. "lol". They slaughtered the campaign in order to create the multiplayer, something that was only restored in halo 3. I will let them off, H3 was a perfect blend of the first 2.

Hmm cool, the audio and main concept is still intact but... there is no elevator that leads to space in the center. Also ,the city looks different than the final product (the structure in the video is all metalic and silver as the final look was more tan and concrete). Its neat to see what games look like before the final product is made. It makes you say "Oh wow that looks different than the original" or "Hmm, I wonder what that level would have looked like if they didn't scrap it".
