Oh my gosh i live in Lubbock Tx so i know how west texas weather is and i have played on a saturday when it was 96 deg. outside and my drumline still sounded way better than that. And people on drumlines dont complain about anything. so quit being such little pansies and deal with it. oh and another thing tempo and cut offs do not have anything to do with weather so yeah thats all i have to say about this drumline. Lubbock High Drumline Rocks.

OK I was The 2nd snare on this line (the one that takes the first solo) and I am one of 3 seniors, I understand how bad this sounds so please dont take this clip as a true display of LDL's potential. It was our first game, and it was 107 on the field during this game and it was like noon the day after 1 of only 2 friday nights the band had off this fall so a some people, like myself, were still recovering from the night before.
what? i was responding to somebody who said the cadance is called sweaty cat and lubbock high wrote it. its original name is not sweaty cat (its "gotta move"), and lubbock high did not write it. and is there any particular reason the other two tenors arent in the video? i dunno you would think whoever is in charge of the line now would be more focused on developing talent instead of developing numbers...perhaps a bigger, more versatile pit would be smarter than a very young, large, dirty line
that's not really a snare solo so much as random notes, sorry. :( and do you guys have a second bass line so just in case your first one gets tired they can take their spots?
sorry but you guys didnt write sweaty cat, you just renamed it...it was originally a cadance from "the worlds greatest cadance" package called "Gotta Move," it was the first one...so is there any particular reason you have seven snares and only two tenors? the balance sounds waaay off...of course it is a camcorder mic so who knows
