The first download is ok. You just have to click on the related link. The second link does not work at all. But I used a serial from one of the comments and it got me through. But phone verification and/or internet verification does not work after that. They say the serial is inactive. So the entire setup is either outdated or broken. most likely without noticing everyone was using the free trial, it works for a couple of months and then locks you and limits you to only viewing, not editing, the file. when you clicked cancel on the installer, you ended up using up the trial.
