I feel like this is a really nice interpretation of this song. I'm learning it as well and this is similar to how I hear it should sound. Very nice legato and tone.
Other versions are really choppy, and I do not care for them, but you have done well sir.
There is a transcription of this in the new Guitar Player magazine (KISS is on the cover - ?) Anyway, it is a beautiful piece and the Segovia story is very touching. Thanks for the post.
this is great. beutifully played. i'm only 17 and tryin to learn it now and my fingers fall over themselves at the slide from the g&e to the a&f#. really anooying but great. watchin this helped me to learn it. would be great if you could do Chanson by Ponce and Berceuse by Leo Brouwer. Thanks
Great playing, great piece. I have been searching for this tab but I can only find the Llobet arrangement. What arrangement are you playing and where can I find it.?
This has always been my favourite piece to play. You play it....well, quite a lot like me (but better!)...your feel for the piece is wonderful. Do you think ti means "Mother's child" or "Mary's child" by the way? I particularly love the enhanced chords and harmonics towards the end - a lovely piece.
song. You are looking at a music book in the video. Where did you get the music and how did you learn the positioning. I am ver interested in learning the version you are playing. HELP!!!!
Just realised I play the wrong chord on this twice..(28 secs and the repeat)..should be D6(?) and not D!!!
I have had a look at Guitar tv. The video quality is very good. Much better than YT. I particularly liked the Juber piece...It is definitely one to keep an eye on. I suspect the site will grow and grow.
Hi Paul,Right on the money again i look forward to seeing what you post next,Hope you dont mind me suggesting a great website you might want to check out.guitarplayertv there are some really great clips there.Anyway thanks again,
You know Paul? I really like your music and way of playing. Very musically and technically with a very high standard. I like that you are not playing this too slow! Great tempo!
Another great tune, Paul. I appreciate the variety of your posts. You obviously have a diverse taste in guitar music. Interesting historical commentary as well. So the old guy was playing guitar up until the day he died. That's dedication.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful performance of such a tender lullaby.

Hi Michaele.
Thanks again for watching.
This is a deceptively easy sounding piece. It is far from easy. Do not be dissuaded, keep at it. I am sure you can play it better than this already.

It is a beautiful piece of music. There are a lot of arrangements out there. This was a bit difficult for me, I think.
From memory, it depicts Mother's Child, but intending, Mary's Child.

your guitar sounds fabulous! who makes it?
videobenji 3 years ago
This is my new "old" guitar. It is a 1966 Oscar Teller. My brother reclaimed the 1967 Oscar Teller I tried to play on earlier vids.
This one was £150.00 on E-bay.
They are very, very under-estimated guitars. If you see one, buy it.

A nice piece and very well played. Thank you for the music. Thanks also for the translation of the title...
I have some Llobet on my side as well, maybe you like to check.
