  • Nice! Supprised the cops didnt hand you a ticket and tow u tho... fkn bastards!

  • if you have a bandit car you MUST drive it like you stole it!

  • C'mon.... surely you can afford a set of tires and a front end alignment... Lets see you git on it

  • and the crop circle pattern was born.

  • ok this vid seems to get good views so question what do you guys think of a ws6 time attack/drift car I am skilled in both and used to have an 01 z28 but it had alot of expensive problems before I could do anything serious and I lovvve the ws6 it might not be this year but soon enough I am into both import and domestic racing but I have had more success with my everlasting hondas but I really wanna catch everyone by suprise I have a shop and the skill to get it done just want some critics

  • @KINGKONG7338 there is no drifting in this vid just uncontrolled donuts drifting takes skill this guy is just mashing the gas with the wheel turned in 1 direction not saying it's not a cool car I love my gm v8's just saying there was no driving skill used to make this vid my sister could have done this in my 01 z28

  • Just look at that fire chicken, ya'll!

  • Hope he has money for brakes and tires

  • You have line lock on that thing or just loosen up the rear brakes?

  • Thumbs up if you muted the sound on this video.

  • @GTTeancum lol

  • These cars sound so amazing... why the music?

  • Get some gear in that thing, and turn off the meth head queer music!

  • you shouldve had different music this song sux.

  • now thats my kinnda screwing around...luv it!

  • I Wonn'a be Trans-AM Women!!

    HAHAHAHA!!!

  • Nice car.

  • @TheOrleansLasVegas Now thats what I call setting the example, keep it up man.

  • lol Turn'n Tricks or failed drift

  • يا حظك .....

الناس تتمنا الي معك وانت تعدمها ...

    الله لا ييبلانا

    i'm from saudi arabia ...

i hope that i get a TRANS AM

  • Awesome

  • I had a 6.6 turbo and it was an awesome ride

  • nice music retard

  • That must be the 180 hp 400 with a 2.56 gear car, a decent running T/A 6.6 would run circle around that car.

  • very god MEU SONHO

    my dream.

  • THAT WAS FUCKIN SWEET DUDE...LOL

  • Dinosaur. Performance car?! Pontiac put that same motor in their station wagons that weren't much heavier. Today there are 4 cylinders that put out more power. Like the style though. Major mods to make it a true performance car. Was hoping they'd come out with a T/A version of the new Camaro. Always liked the Poncho versions.

  • @boogernat yeah there are 4 bangers that put out ten times the horses, but sound like ass. american v8 engines are what a performance car is supposed to sound like, thats the thing. can they out put more torque? no. end of discussion. id rather have my dinosaur than a disposable car any day.

  • lol i want a 77-80 trans am one day. atm i have 1988 Camaro IrocZ L98

  • cut that shaker scope open get some air in that carb ...Cow induction works better when the air gets sucked in from streaming off the wind sheild into the shaker scope ..i had a 72 455 the shaker had butter- flies that opened when u floor it.my 77 & 81 didnt; had to cut them out..ran so much better ^^..PCE

  • @ASH6977 I figure u could just buy a early 70s shaker and put that in. the size wasn't much different, it was a bit taller. like the 78-79. but thats it i think

  • There goes that set of tires.

  • this might not have been a T/A 6.6 but that 's probably a good thing if it's down under now. American Icons should stay here where they were born.

  • The Pontiac T/A 6.6 is what carried the American muscle torch through the dark time period of the late 70's through the early 80's. If you have one of these neglected and under-appreciated American icons from a time when we were running a razor-thin line between muscle and oblivion.....hold on to it with all you have, drive it like it was meant to be driven and go forth and REPRESENT.

  • Beautiful car, i hope my 78 looks that good when shes done!

  • im glad to see so many positive comments relating to how you're driving it haha, i believe the same philosophy, i dont care how rare or expensive a car is if you're not driving it the way it was intended you dont desirve to have it, take the three only ZL1 Vettes ever produced, one of them is still being raced to this day even though you cant honestly put a price on it THAT is respect haha. A bird isnt a bird if it cant fly, and a caged bird cant fly...ironic how suiting that phrase is LOL

  • Fuck'n music!!!

  • factory 400 in it

  • this ones fkn beast its the 455 yea?

  • I dont usually like that kind of stuff...but a trans am...thats the stuff it was born to do. Well that and race between the lights!

  • Only do this kind of shit IF YOU KNOW HOW TO REPAIR IT Lol that part is very true and if u have the money

  • Look on facebook under...Pioneers of Power...for some new Smokey and the Bandit action...free in the discussion area of the ..Pioneers of Power....page

  • You people really need to stop calling your Trans Am a Bandit just because it's an SE. You gotta long way to go before it's a Bandit buddy.

  • why do we abuse this car? lol

  • @Richard19706 If you weren't supposed to drive it like this you wouldn't be able too.

  • @81TransAmJunkie Lol yeah I guess...

  • Just how it's meant to be driven.

  • NICE!!!!!!!!!! take me for a drive somtime

  • Yeah because making lots of noise and smoke is truly what that machine was meant for. Oh, and spinning in circles. You're really living life to the fullest, dude.

  • you couldnt drive a duck to water

  • GM Muscle Baby!!

    LS1-4-Life!!

  • just put that hammer down and give it hell!

  • If anyone remembers these things had like 200hp stock. Looked fast but....eh.

  • i have a 1978 Trans Am Gold 455 Olds ya the engine is lil big for her but makes her the burnout queen......... although i haven't been doing burnouts not soo much not till i get some shitty tires for it

  • that and a Capri Rs turbo fuckin fast and cool

  • i had a 400 big block with a hemi a and a shift kit awesome cars

  • very sad and music sucks!

  • hey retard... thats a 77' trans am GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!!!

  • put Pirrrellili P-7 on mine that's abuse

  • that sure as hell aint no damm trailer queen

  • the trans am is the ultimate badass car

  • looks like a fisher hatch to me but none the less still one sweet ass car driven the way it was ment to be

  • dude, that ain't the kinda music you play for that kind of car. Nice car though!

  • this video is awesome

  • Great video, music was WAY to loud though, not bad, just loud. It killed the rest of the audio.

  • wow there was like no skilled it was more like sexy ass trans am spinning out

  • @jessiejames2012

damn sexy though wasnt it, i want one, ive had cameros of the same time, just not the same, the ta was it

  • @Ugiewawa how much do they usually run

in 2 weeks im gonna have like 1500 im saving up for and explorer then im gonna lift it and put 33s on

  • what do these top out at

  • Comment removed

  • song name??

  • @tibian12345 Speak by Godsmack

  • i just got one with a rebuilt 70 gto 400 in it all done up only started too break in the cam for 1500 :)

  • i just got one off craigslist for 4,000 from texas getting friday

  • the 1977 trans am from smokey and the bandit (part on) had a 455 rockit olds auto. i have one and i love it but my girl friend hats it couse i was born with a lead foot.

  • yes they did..... they had 6 cars half were the stunt cars with the nascar engines/4speed pushin 6-700hp if u notice a stock 77 dosent preform like that/sound like that. and the car he drives out/ does the burnout at begining was a 4 speed but all interior shots show auto! u can hear him downshift in stunt scenes and when he picks up frog he lays a 2nd gear slab. my fav movie....they dont make movies/cars like this anymore

  • the 1st bandit was a 77, not a 78. I have an 81 turbo and in the process of buying a 78. how is it?

  • I know it was a 77, just needed the keyword to get more hits. I sold the T/A last month, but it was an awesome ride. And despite all my abuse the car never ever had a single problem.

  • awesome, i'm seriously considering buying this car.

  • @mojoreaper Hell no Ponitac Power Baby

  • @mojoreaper lol, did you show the buyer this vid before they bough the T/A? Either a deal maker or deal breaker, lol... but yeah, The Trans Am is my favorite car of all time. I had an '83 T/A, looked nice, but it was slow with its 305 V-8 Cross fire injection.

  • @ledman096 No i didn't show the buyer the video. This car was actually bought and shipped to Australia, now it's east bound and down under, lol!!

  • @mojoreaper sweet...there is a big market for those kind of cars overseas, You will never forget it I am sure, great car.

  • @ledman096 those crossfire engines sucked... origionally used in the corvette the same time... nothing but problems.. my friend had one.. still had some guts. But not what you would expect.. d8idnt they use that car for the original night rider car? or was that the 82. same difference but maybe not

  • @mojoreaper No the Bandit car was a '76 with a '77 Nose. Do some research before correcting people >=(

  • @mojoreaper how much would a car like this run me?

  • it was a 78 because it was the tenth anniversary car these cars almost identical and easily mistaken

  • @davidvincent2 A 77 and a 78 are the same car.

  • @davidvincent2 im pretty sure first bandit isn't a 77 or 78 but idk

  • @79TAGio bandit isnt even a model type its se(special edition)and 77 was first they made it speically for the movie smokey and the bandit

  • Freakin' awesome.

  • Just bought a Bandit like this and pick it up in 3 days. 403 big block. I think I'll take it a little easier on mine and see if it can last another 30 years :)

  • 403------ not a big block... SB Olds..

I made that mistake before I baught mine, not that it matters

  • The 403 is a small block.

  • Yeah MoFo! That was dope!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Hemi Cuda was the last of the great muscle cars IMO.

  • hey coltonwithano my 69 chevelle will leave you in the dust

  • Don't make 'em like they used to... :)

  • thats for sure!

  • didnt they stick a nascar lump in the original film car? heard they had to boost it for the bridge jump and made it so hot they overshot the landing!! cool muscle tho

  • i think that was the second movie.

  • they used a chevy racing engine for the bridge jump. But they didnt overshoot it

  • Cool car but east bound and down would of sounded better for this just like da bandit! : )

  • I'm with you, MrGuv.

    It's the wrong tune.

GE Smith would kick his ass for that.

  • thats exactly what i said.........this song isnt good for the video at all.

  • my uncle had a '79 with a 403 in it... he ran it to hell

  • my thunderbird would smoke any piece of shit you own

  • what year?

  • wow too bad trans ams were proven so much faster and all around better than thunderbirds. fuck you poser.

  • sick WOOHOO!

  • To everybody bitching about the way the car is being driven-

The people who don't deserve these cars are the old gray-haired Viagra-popping boomers who are too old and too concerned about their retirement portfolio to drive a performance car, and who only take 'em out of the garage twice a year for shows. Even worse are those who look at the cars purely as investments. That is an offense. These cars were built to be driven and driven well.

  • @Positrack1 I completly agree theese cars were not ment to be pussyfooted around with they are muscle cars and you should have fun with them i'm not saying abusing them but run em i'm 40 years old w kids and I love a good burn out of the line

  • @Positrack1 no fair enough, i don't believe that if you have a car for instance that has been restored you shouldnt use it or go more than 70mph, you ought to race it a bit and especially if it is a trans am, i mean i resotred a 75' raleigh chopper, i know its not quite the same thing but i still do skids on it and stuff, But really if i had that car i would go on a big trip around america driving around with a moustash and hair like Burt Reynolds :)

  • @andrewz105 T/A's are the best i have one myself but never ever jumping ditches or shit like that

  • @Positrack1 hell ya and that says it all

  • @Positrack1 i think i love you

  • @Positrack1 agreed 100 percent. you tell those fucking jerks. i WISH i had this car. one day when i become a millionaire this will be one of the first cars i smash around in.

  • @Positrack1 and slingin it around in a parking lot, trashin the motor, slipping the tranny and abusing the suspension is NOT driving well. sorry, buy a junkyard special for that. this is for zipping down the interstate at 105 and making heads turn. not jackin off in a parking lot.

  • cooljoey02-

You're right, but the '77 and '78 are virtually identical. The pattern in the grille inserts is slightly different and there are a few other very minor cosmetic differences, but it would take a real Pontiac enthusiast to tell 'em apart.

  • Bandits was a 1977.

  • get a grip ya bunch a rockets a car like that is made 2 be driven like that, do u think its got that much power for pissin about drivin down 2 the shops at 30 mph!!!

  • Drive it like you stole it. it's your car....drive it how you like and enjoy it.

  • tits and ass

  • Dumb as hell. the dude's a dork and the song sucks ass!!

  • how are you gona say "poor car" or "you dont deserve that car"

wtf are u ppl smoking, these cars, u gota drive em hard.

  • Drive 'em hard or get rid of them. Why own a car if you're not enjoying it. If something breaks it was time to replace it. I'm just glad he has the car and is enjoying it. Too many people collect cars only to look at them like a piece of art. Art is for walls, trailers are for boats, and this guy is rolling hard! I say ROCK ON!

  • You got it man; absolutely!

  • if i had that damn trans am id be doin the same damn thing by god!

  • I love how people tell this guy how to treat his car. Who cares if he wants to do burnouts all day it's his not yours.

  • you dont deserve that car you poofter

  • you aint shit you sad mothafucka sittin there makin videos of your car hahaha

  • i could do the same thing in my 94 Thunderbird what a waist of that car

  • what a fag.. he owns a 94 tbird

  • no cb antenna. how u gonna talk to sherriff justice?

  • My cousin has a 69 it is so beautiful

  • What a shame! This is why these cars are so hard to find today. They were abused and run into the ground and basically overall destroyed by people who had no clue how to really take care of them. Burning the tires like this is NO BIG DEAL and takes NO skill in doing so....Boring and a total waste of a good car. So get yourself a Neon because you can do the same thing with that and it won't be a great waste if you blow the engine on it or hit something while in the process of needing new tires.

  • The Trans am from Smokey and The Bandit is my dream car.

  • NIIIIce !!! :)

  • nice car, that is some skill, great job on the video, although i hope you know how bad that is for the car

  • That is god damn it!I am buying a Trans Am,period!Grrrrrrrrrr

  • This vid definitely needs East Bound and Down!

  • I want that fucking car!

  • good luck with that

  • should have a cowboy hat on

  • Burt Reynolds rocks !

    :) Kidding :(

  • Once again your car is a cream puff. It is slower than the 2002 Pontiac Firebirds with the 3800-V6 (3.8L). I can promise you that. Power brake is something you do when your broke and can't afford real horse power or your a green horn. So take your pick because that is the only logical explanation fag boy!

  • that kid with the username "thebandit77transam" is arguing with me that a stock 77 t/a will do the 1/4 in 7.8 secs. i think hes legally retarded

  • theres no way in hell that the T/A in Smokey & the Bandit had the engine that pontiac originally put in (400ci @ 185hp) , probally a chevy 396 @ 375hp you can tell, its got nice pickup in the movie, and the tires smoke a LOT (cant do that with 185 ponies)

  • I heard they used nitrous..

  • they didnt they did in Smokey and the Bandit 2 for a jump though. They didn't use anything else but a Pontiac 400 6.6 L in the movie no NOS nothing.

  • you can do that with pontiac 400 engines ive done it before and seen it done the pontiac 400 6.6 L yeah theres a way that the trans am can do that in Smokey and the Bandit only aftermarket thing on the trans am was i think intake of different exhaust but even then it wasn't even adding that much more power and the trans am still did that.

  • My dads '76 had the 400 it was crazy fast. He broke the rear differential and didn't have the money to fix it so he pulled the engine and tranny and junked the rest. I have the engine and tranny in my garage still just need to find a decent '77 to drop it in..

  • nice one wheel donuts, SOO CRAZY and yes 78 t/a blew 190 hp in a 6.6 lol

  • nice car dde dont fuck it up

  • Check out the new show on HBO, Eastbound and Down, that show rocks

  • it sucks the name should be changed to something more aprropriate to the show, not one of the songs ever made. Jerry Reed could sue them if he were still alive.

  • best lookin car ever!

  • Now thats the way a Trans Am should be driven !

  • amen

  • TRUE THAT

  • Look up the stats 77-79 trans ams didnt have much power and werent that fast

  • thats because in the late 70s they started taking the HP at the wheels so insurance would cost less :)...i will admit that damn 403 they put in the 79 sux (i have a 79 T/A with a 403)

  • worst comment and possibly the dumbest comment ive seen all day. Of course they were powerful and fast YOU look the stats up. i could possibly understand a 79 not being AS fast, but they're still fast and the 77-78 were monster fast.

  • 15 sec 1/4 miles is monster fast? a 5.3 silverado will do that

  • it doesnt do that ive seen stock 77-78 T/As do 1/4 mile in 7.8 seconds idiot and i looked under the hood and ran the t/a on a dyno so it wasnt aftermarket it was all stock and it did 7.8 seconds so suck on that it may not be the FASTEST, but it sure beats a silverado dicksucker. Trans Ams are kick ass.

  • you are so fucking stupid. 1/4 mile in 7.8 seconds? it couldnt even do the 1/8th that fast.

  • ....your are legally retarded XD

  • shouldn't have put that music on this video because the only music for me is the v8 and the tire screeching

  • Ya know, you can get your Honda Civics, your 3rd gen camaros, mustang gt's, etc...but you can beat the true muscle cars from that era.

  • the music fucks it up

  • I had a 79 Trans Am..it was a hulk of a car by today's standards, for sure.

To this day, I have a soft spot for the old T/A's. I have a '99 WS6 right now..killer car.

To robpurifoy24..we also have an '07 Vette...absolutely the fastest car we've ever had.

  • U can tell, although the car has street cred. and movie history, it's a heavy piece of metal. The 'Vette turns tricks like 2 times faster because it's so much lighter-and more HP. But it's all good.
