@LPhiEinHD Not really. The space between the pins is what causes the reaction. More pins means greater absorption of the energy and momentum. If you were to shoot a cannonball at a wall of bricks, it still probably wouldn't knock the whole wall down. That's the same reason, if you've ever seen a child bowl with a 6-pound ball, it bounces off the pins rather than going through them, even though a 6-pound ball is still about twice as heavy as each individual pin.

anyone with half a brain would know that this is harder than just 10 pins cause the head pin is closer so u have to adjust ur shot so that it hooks a little easier and since there are 30 of them, ur ball wont smash through them like fit normally would, just watch and u will see that his ball bounces right off so u need a lot of kinetic energy to knock them all down.....DUHH!!!!!!

Yeah honestly it isn't a big deal doing this.. The pins are so close together that you just need enough momentum to knock the back ones and hit the center reasonably well. You can hit a regular amount of pins well and still come out short. This is more about the pace of the ball.
