@MsPuppiez226 Are you stupid? Maybe you are, considering your comment.
Maybe we need this stuff but, do we really need it to be tested on animals?
Most of the tests are incomplete. Lots of tests were passed and got approved, but when being used on humans they didn't work as expected.
Animals and humans are different. A chemical product which doesn't harm an animal can harm us (chemists, products, virus, diseases, etc). That's an excuse for those who don't care abotu animals.
@MsPuppiez226 There are lots of companies who make household cleaners and cosmetics without killing animals in out-dated tests - chose them instead. Vivist the 'go cruelty free' website.
@amuyong69 Sure you're ugly inside and outside. I'm not saying that these products should dissapear. Just said that there's no need to make animals suffer with tests. Some pharma products and medicins (nowadays por AIDS) are tested in humans. After years and years testing on mice, the results obtained in mice weren't the expected in humans. If you want to use olay or any other household product apply for testing on you, and with your opinion sure it will work in most of humans
You can't convince ignorant uncaring people that don't want to know the truth, sorry..They won't even picture the animals being put through their pain as the chemicals are forced into mouth or eyes or through the tubes into their stomachs.
who cares aslong as it brings out the whites, and gives my breathe a minty taste, lets face it the animals love it, getting to chew on a box of pringles all day.
929RRider NOTE: the animal testing is worse than you can imagine it isn't all peaches n' cream at the laboratory where the test their products on these animals I promise I'm not attacking you for your opinion on these products I'm just saying learn what they do to these animals before you comment Thank You...
I test my Procter & Gamble products on my animals at least once a month. My dog has the softest skin, my cat has the fluffyest hair, and my hamster hasn't had a cavity in over a year!. These products are great for you and your animals.

@forchettarossa P&G do test on animals and they are quite open about this - there is no argument here.
As you say P&G are not the only company to test on animals for cosemtic and household product ingredients - we don't claim that they are - but they are the biggest and so we are targetting them knowing that others will follow P&G's lead.
The driving force behind P&G's torture of animals is to develop "new and improved" versions of Bold, Ariel etc - they do so with alarming frequency.
There are none so sure as those that have no idea of what they speak! P&G's latest statement on ANIMAL TESTING: “Eliminating animal testing is an ambitious goal, but working together...can make this goal a reality.”
So clearly they do still test on animals for cosmetics and household products.
"Proctor and Gamble Buys Natura Pet Leaving Quality of Food in Question" NOW PROCTOR & GAMBLE OWN INNOVA, EVO, CALIFORNIA NATURAL, HEALTHWISE, MOTHER NATURE and KARMA. It is awful. Please look around and buy from companies that P&G don't own.
Yes - there are links to some examples of P&G tests for Herbal Essences on our boycott Hurtful Essences site. P&G have never denied that they do test on animals: "Sometimes, to ensure that materials are safe and effective, we must conduct research that involves animals" (obviously they try to put a spin on it.)
Governments only make demands for animal testing when 'new to the world' ingredients are used. If P&G would stick to using the thousands of chemicals already known to be safe they could stop testing on animals today!
The sad truth is they care more about profits than they do about animals.
Wow, I just recently found out about this and have now stopped using Gillette and any other products in my house made by P&G. I sent them an email letting them know, but got the usual email about how they care & invest in change but they still do it! The ONLY way to make them care, not just pay lip service, is to boycott them, hit them where it hurts. Most of these companies are not required by law to test, but even so, they have no incentive to lobby for change unless they start losing $
I have boycotted P&G for some time now. The cruel, evil acts they perform on defenseless animals is incentive enough to deteste them for the rest of my days! I fully support Uncaged because I have a heart and know the difference between right and wrong and P&G are wrong to the core. There are so many BETTER, cheaper and animal friendly products out there if we just open our eyes :-) Lets put an end to this. Boycott P&G!! x
The scientific research we have uncovered proves that P&G are still killing animals in tests for cosmetics - in fact they admit themsleves on their website.
The general public pay to support our campaign - millions of them - all around the world!!
Compassionate people are boycotting P&G until they stop this cruel animal testing.
The campaign is about letting caring consumers know that if they buy P&G products then they are givning their money to a company that kills animals in research for toiletries.
We find the majority of people will boyoctt P&G once they know the facts.
