People are still starving/thirsty and this has disappeared from our news. There should be MANY MANY MORE airdrops and SOON. They should also be much smaller-'Flutter drops' which require less crowd control and risk of injury. We have the capability so WHY IS THIS NOT HAPPENING ???
o please we've helped more than anyone else look it up besides we have our own problems in the usa. Why are we always the one's who have to help other countries? And send billions of dollars to far off countrys? No one ever helped us when we started out....
One of those packs went straight to the ground. Look close at 0:50 ... They were dropped from low altitude, as you can clearly see, so that parachute probably never opened.
They say that there are crews waiting on the ground that will distribute that AID. Hmm... they better not wait for the packages right underneath :)
These people are the poorest people in the Western Hemisphere. Our soldiers have been on multiple tours to the Middle East. The Haitians can sort this out.

I was one of first responder in new orleans to deliver supplies and the blacks shot at our trucks and were already rioting and looting.
I regret helping these people. They even hijacked some trucks on 1st day of Katrina. I had been on 5 other hurricane assignments before katrina and everywhere else we were giving the red carpet (even Miami) by the people we were helping. Not New Orleans. And after watching how they acted in Haiti i'm thoroughly convinced they are savages.
gates should stop thinking he is the Caesar and like the rest of the world submit to the UN running such things, for the sake of those in need , I dont know why obarme has not sacked this incompetent coward ?
That is the United Stated Air Force. By the way they were originally shipping supplies down by other means like by ship and cargo planes. After that wasn't going so well they then decided Air Drops would be the best way to do it. Supplies have been getting there way before the air drops. Oh btw you can't air drop supplies into a metropolitan area such as New Orleans. Quit being ignorant.
Ok I'm going to make this very simple for you people who obviously live in the 3rd world. The fact that it was 5 days after the earthquake that the U.S. air dropped supplies means nothing. We could have done it in 5 hours. Air Drops are very expensive and its cheaper to get the supplies there by other means. We are by NO means inhibiting our own relief efforts. Other things are however delaying our efforts because of the sheer unorganization of the country of Haiti.
The U.S. has done nothing to stop the relief effort. We have been the biggest contributers to help it. You ignorant fucking people who have never even been to America think you actually have a clue how our country operates. We are the most powerful military force in the history of man. Every fight is our fight. What the hell could we gain by "bullying" Haiti? We are trying to help it but you people act like its a disgrace to be helped by America.
ShaneMac777, No offerse, but you seriously have no clue as to how the U.S has consistently intervened in supporting coup d'etats, since Haiti proclaimed its independence in 1804. Start by seeing who removed Aristide by Force and exiled him to S.Africa. ''every fight is our fight.'' - you've been watching too much corporate-sponsored news. learn your history. perhaps Howard Zinn, Chomsky, do your research. don't just swallow and repeat what you've been trained to repeat.. peace, brother!
I have no clue? I'm an enlisted member of the United States Air Force and I know for a fact that the U.S. has put more effort than any country to help haiti's earthquake. I'm not talking about past events. Now this comes natural to someone with common sense but I'll explain my comment "every fight is our fight". As the most ready and capable nation in the world the United States must come to the aid of a country in disaster because if it doesn't then it is ridiculed for not helping.
@ShaneMac777 Haiti offers a strategic defensive location for the United States. And what if you were the most powerful military? US allied with -other strongest military- yet haven't won Afghanistan..
~Just sayin
I love the US being a role model in helping other countries..
there are reports at least one nation has lodge a protest with the Un and the Usa , for that very thing ,,have u seen some of the repoerts comming out of that countery ,, try opning your eyes to fact not natoinal pride ,, it far less humiulating in the long run ,the Usa what a joke ,lol could not orgunise a countery toilet

i don't think that that was the point, it doses how ever highlight the incompetence of the same Us admin. that was in place then and now
the Us has bungled is own relief effort and prevented relief from entering the country according to reports
