haha! it has been over 10 years since i last heard this. i don't have this 7" anymore. i think it is todd singing... even though he is from regina and not portage la prarie. my old band used to play with i spy, propagandhi, silence equals, painted thin, red fisher, and lots of other winnipeg bands back in the early 90's.
@jonasbjarki wicked mate glad u found this! This track was(is) so off the wall it really took me by surprise when i first played it! - was in a band myself at the time and these guys were true idols. didn't know it was todd on the vocals and that he wasn't actually from portage! - that just makes it even weirder. i'm not jealous that u played with them btw
@deafwish2008 Sorry to burst your bubble but it's actually John Sutton (Red Fisher, The Weakerthans, etc.) singing on this one. I don't think anyone from Propagandhi was involved in creating this fine piece of...uh...vinyl. John and another fellow recorded it as their "final exam" for the recording course they were taking. Well, that's the story Mr. Sutton told anyway...
