@claudiaiasi yeah I know. Well, it's just slight amplification due to the mic still amplifying it just enough. There are other vids where you can hear his unamplified voice at high notes but it's often very faint as camera mics are bad at picking it up and the audience often screams too loudly etc. Very few videos have this but one example is Smile in Xian 2009 and also Opera 2 in Moscow 2007.
I love his expression @ 1:03. that's the first time I've seen him make that expression!
