I was in our new Comet elec store and all tv's on theback wall were playing and when this sketch came on all the adults stopped and watched it, it was brilliant to see. Everyone laughed as if it was a new sketch. Priceless.

lyrebu. Every Two Ronnies sketch was brilliant, and not an "ist" to be heard. Loved loads of the Cleese, Barker and Corbett earlier ones. Today's output is largely crap.and can rarely raise a titter. Can watch and roll about at Porridge, Open All Hours, Only Fools, Ab Fab Vicar of Dibley and repeats of many other programmes made up to 5 or 6 years ago.

PURE GENIUS....! Barker was the brains and they both admit this was probably the best sketch Barker ever wroke, comedy like this just doesn't exist anymore, you have to swear alot now to make it funny or be really offensive. This is one realy clever sketch.

HELP. I'm collecting everything I can find about the genius that was Ronny B. I heard him say in a interview that he thought the ending to FC was weaker than the rest of the sketch - I mean the bit about the Billhooks. He said that he was driving his car one day and an alternative (and much funnier ending(his words)) came into his mind and he then went on to say what it was. Does anyone remember what he said?

Classic comedy. Why can't anybody write stuff like this anymore. Makes the comedy of today look so pathetic. Very few around like the Two Ronnies. One or two stand ups are good but funny comedy sketches like this don"t exist, and don't anybody say "what about LITTLE BRITAIN", because compared to Two Ronnies, that is crap.
