  • this guy is asking to loose a hand or arm wearing those gloves!!!!

  • lose the gloves

  • Why do people where gloves for this kind of work? There is nothing there that can hurt your hands. Gloves are worn for protection i.e when welding or using a somthing harmful to skin. I hate that some shops seem to have balnket rules 'you must......' Use PPE where approiate and that means your don't need gloves to turn.

Oh and it just another thing to get caught.

  • gloves will hurt you......... never use them in a machine shop

  • I agree very dangerous habit I'm a manual machinist by trade and personally I like having all my fingers at the end of the day....

  • I had to stop the video when I saw the gloves, I just couldn't watch.

You've got to be out of your mind.

  • Very clever-Thanks for sharing.

  • MUY RALLADO QUEDO ESE TRABAJO

  • Take them gloves off.

  • gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves gloves who cars if he wears gloves

  • that's nice made but you have to do it with p 1000 dude

  • How many fingers do you have left?

  • The lathe in the gloves? It might not mean, surely he can grab his hand if he shot the glove!

  • besides the gloves...nicely done! I will have to make myself one of those and have fav'd this video to get some rough dimensions to work from.

  • i can get you the blue prints

  • very nice. as member of the safety committee i do say those gloves look a bit unsafe around the lathe, lol, but fine craftsmanship indeed! i have seen those yoke style ball makers, nice to see a demonstration.

  • Nicely done thanks

  • a way on turning a dick

  • Thats cool. I have to make some mushrooms, that kind of tool will do the job, and faster.

  • That's a really slick setup. I built a yoke style ball maker last summer. It looks a lot like yours, only I made the tool holder center section so it could pivot and lock in place. This allows me more clearance when I have to work close to the chuck, or am turning a ball from larger diameter stock. Works well, but is tricky to set up sometimes. I liked your inside radius tool too. It's amazing what you can accomplish without cnc.
