I love this particular song from the Cathedral Bagpipes...wonderful against the cold wintery scene of your beautiful homeland...thanks again...I pray for your blessings even now as I get ready go to work...peace and strength to you GlenBoyz...from Baghdad, Iraq!!!! Smiles for Miles!
Hi there Friend,!! stop by too heard the magnificent music too kick off my day.and its working gives me energy that I needed .I still can drink coffee,so i am drinking the tea.it dosent work like a coffee would do.anyhow thanks for the music and breath taking scenery.cheers friend ,from USA
sorry it took so long to watch this one,it's a snow thing. thank you for giving me Scotland a land I long for but know I shall never see for myself. oh by the way love your clean roads surely that would never be in the u.s.
Just want to say that I have had a great time "taking a trip through Scotland"- You should work for the Department of Tourism! And the music you put along with the videos fits it perfect! Have a great day!
i was lucky too work at st andrews for the 2004 open spent my time off riding around on a mountain bike what a place would of loved to see it in winter top tune for a top place
fj9fi - I'm with you brother, as an Englishman, it's time to move forward and stop living in the past. I'm proud to be British along side my Scottish, Welsh and Irish (from NI) brothers & sisters. One day, maybe there will be peace on earth?
i'm english born and bred, but this is beautiful,we shouldn't have any differences,we're british.forget nationalism, let's all enjoy it together. peace to you and yours.great bit of music too!
i know theres this scottish english hate thing going, but i was born and bred in wales, its all silly anyway. but your countryside is so beautifull, i cant see how anyone can hate it, plus the people are great. great video.
@BHALT0S forget the past,it breeds bitterness, look to the future,we're all british brothers of this archipelago, let's enjoy it lest it gets wrested from our bosom by outsiders.........peace
Lovely video.I remember when I was in Scotland a few years ago, I was awestruck by the beauty that was everywhere I traveled. There is such a haunting beauty about Scotland that draws one back. The longing to return doesn't leave you,but only increases.Thank you for this wonderful, beautiful video, that allows me the chance to "visit" Scotland once again.Sandie
yh its like i used to live in stirling and most of the people never ventured out the of the central belt and just stayed in the cities, there's so much to explore and do in the highlands, although i am born in England i consider my self as Scottish because thats where ive spent the last 16 years of my life, love scotland to bits
This is a German woman writing, whose heart is in Scotland...! Next year I will emigrate there to live with my Scottish husband - I cannot wait! Germany has its beauty like every country, be it the castles along the rhine or the ancient cities in the south, but oh - Scotland.....! God had a bold and beautiful dream the night before he created this land....!
Scotland is an incredibly, stunningly beautiful, partiularly the Highlands. I'm an englishman who's heart resides there. But I'm also filled with a sense of grief and sadness that the Highlands are not what they used to be back in the day. The ancient Caledonian pine forests are by far the most BEAUTIFUL thing about Scotland, to me, and there's hardly any left, cos we cut nearly all of it down. What's left of it is out of this world; they are the true glory of Scotland-and the world. Peace
Don't be sad, I spent the entire summer in the countryside around Plains, Airdrie, and there are vast projects of re-foresting going on, entire field that were empty are now covered in pinetrees that are already more than 6 feet tall! Another ten years from now and Scotland will look so different....!
I'll be making my way up to Caledonia next summer. I'm planning on staying in Drymen, outside of Loch Lomond. I cant wait, I know it will be a great time. Great video, cheers!
I went to Scotland this year and it's the most beautiful country I've visited in my life. The Highlands are amazing and the people are so nice. You feel so welcome in Scotland. I'm planning to go to Scotland every year, second home away from home.
I thought Id left a comment the last time I looked at this video. I always cry when I hear Highland Catherdral, but I bawled my eyes out when I saw the fab video you'd put it to. I'll be on the road to Orkney via Fort William in a few days time. Now I'm doubely looking forward to it. Thanks for loading this Glenzboyz.. I LOVE it.
highland cathedral got played by a piper at my grans funeral last week.every time i listen to this lovely bit of music it brings me to tears.maybe happy tears, knowing shes out of pain and at peace.or it could be sad tears knowing i will never see her again.thanx for the post glenzboyz.great video
Glenboyz, you've done it again. You have reduced a grown man to tears. I am so proud to be from Scotland and when I hear that tune, I canna help myself. I know it was written by two German fellows, but when I hear it, it gives me pins and needles down to the bone. Thanks for putting this up!
Mit eines der schönsten Stücke die ich bis dato gehört habe. Ich habe nun schon zig Versionen gehört aber immer wieder erzeugt dieses Lied bei mir eine Gänsehaut.
Very effective capturing of the beautiful winter atmosphere... I liked the mix of stills and video... and being able to put names to places I've only dreamed aboot :-)

@monkeyjoe007 aye thats cos the English cut them down in order to feed their industrial revolution.
another example of England raping Scotland for it's own end, just like our oil, and dont get me started on the clearances.
