  • actually, for the component cable, when using YPbPr, the red carries the reds, the blue carries the blues, and the green carries black and white

  • ha hah hahahaha alright?

  • component is still anolog not digetal the only digetal video cable thy make is hdmi

  • haha primary colors are red, blue, and yellow

  • @gianelvr4 Actually, that's not even true. The primary colors in pigments are magenta, cyan, and yellow. This is what you'd call "subtractive" mixing. The primary colors in light is indeed red, green, and blue. This is what you'd call "additive" mixing.

  • oh my god what just happened i think i had either a really boring dream or that was an extremely youtube video...

  • Alright, I'm going to waste 5 minutes of your time, alright? This is going to be pointless, alright? Seriously, alright, I don't know what I'm talking about, alright?

  • what ever happened to hdmi??

  • this vid was made right before they relesed those cables

  • @khkbqazwsx *runs finger across neck*

  • Actually coax can carry a digital signal as well. He is definitely not an expert as component is analog and does not split off Red, Green, and Blue. It actually carries colorless signals, such as luminance, a croma values.

  • a component connection is digital?

    really?

    :/

  • hooking up your outdated electronics for dummies.. with your host, the retard!!

  • what if you buy a wirless home theater system? could someone direct me to a video on how to set one of those up?

  • you say "alright" too much

  • Ha ha christ he does say it a lot. ALRIGHT

  • What does he talk about?

    It's bullshit!

"Basic cable for cable television" - I don't know how it is in USA, but in Europe normal cable for cable television is coax.

After what he talks I can learn "video(yellow) cable is different than audio left(red), right(white) and component cables(red, gren and blue)".

    What a bullshit!

They're all the same, the cinch connectors!

Colour is the only that differs in those cables.

  • is this guy 4 real i new all this stuff since i was 3

  • Nice try but Component is also analog. You also haven't brought up HDMI, which for most people buying a TV now is the most important cable to know about.
