Nice video! Just try ot keep your hair moisturized (a great leave in and deep conditioner) and manage your protein balance, which does not necessarily mean more protein treatments. Also be gentle with your hair to prevent breakage. Keep those ends as protected as you can. I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year! God Bless!
You must be sure to find the correct balance between moisture and protein products. You're probably missing some protei or getting to much. Make sure you have products that give you lasting moisture. Drink lots of water too because that's what everybody forgets to do or doesn't like to drink. Good luck! Happy New Year!!!
Detangle, moisturize and strengthen. I get the detangle and moisture from good products. You have to get a good feta goer if you are natural it is a must. Otherwise, your hair will drive you nuts! I use a steamer once a week to get that moisture in and I rotate between a protein (for strength) and a moisturizing conditioner each week when I use the steamer. Keep the ends moist. This is also a must. Not with gunk, but with a good water based product. Good luck!! We are all I. This together!
My tip: Keep moisturizing your hair & detangle with a comb less often--Try to detangle with your fingers only. That's what I think the breakage is from...trying to detangle curly hair is a chore sometimes & not as easy as straight strands. You'll be fine! :)) NICE TRIM
@ChloeDeBre thanks sweetie! I definitely finger detangle, but you are right, I also detangle with brush too, especially during wash and gos. I appreciate the advice.
@sweetbee06 that's on my to-do list. I was looking at some of those videos and it seemed like that works for ppl. What do you think protein treatment for the first wash and then black tea rinse for the second?
Sounds like you need protein treatments. deep condition weekly. Moisture, moisture, moisture. Vitamin C,E, B vitamins ,B-complex, Biotin, Panthenol B vitamins work best when used together. Vitamin A and garlic oil help with shedding.Horsetail. All helped my hair thicken and grow.Plastic cap nightly.Ayurvedec herbs. All of this has helped me tremendously.Don't forget the fish oils too. Brewers yeast is a great source of B vitamins too. hope this helps!!!! They work for me!!!!!!
@dmalikat Silica supplements, usually from the plant horsetail (Equisetum) can increase the thickness of hair and help it maintain its strength and elasticity. Plant-based forms of silica have varied absorption rates. Make sure you research any supplement you take.Over use of any supplement can be dangerous.Just do a Google search. As for the plastic cap it creates moisture so if you're trying to maintain a straight hairstyle I would wait.Brewers yeast has B-complex and amino acids.
@dmalikat (2) You can make a rinse(tea) from Horsetail as well as taking the internal supplement.I can attest to it making my hair thicker.definitely try weekly deep conditioning. There are so many things you have in your kitchen that may be used as a deep conditioner. I love using my moisturizing sprays made with beneficial herbs that aid in hair growth water and shea butter. Check out Zoe on her ReviveUK channel. For recipes to make moisturizers from scratch.Look up Fenugreek also.
Hi I have exactly the same breakage as u, mine is due to heat, my hair is long overall but I have two, four and six inch breakage throughout my hair. I am transitioning now to natural as I am both overprocessed and have heat damage. Maybe your change of regimin is causing the shedding, I feel that happens to me. Please fo a video about transitioning, I would love to know how you grew out your relaxer xxx merry Christmas
@pincurled thanks for sharing. I'm so happy (not happy for your shedding though), that someone can relates. Uggh! I have heat damage too. I will definitely do a video on my transition. I didn't do the big chop. When I needed the relaxer, I put in kinky twists to help with my hair freaking out.

I meant to write you have to use a good detangler if you are natural, otherwise your hair will drive you nuts.

@plmrcn what type of detangler do you suggest? I finger detangle and use both a denim and flat brush. I think I am detangling too much too.
