All those other shortcuts (removing sim card) didn't do anything. This is the only "self help" video that worked for me. (AT&T, iPhone 3gs, Pwnage 4.0, iTunes 9.2 for Mac)

Sadly didn't work for me: O2 orig. iPhone, trying to move to Orange PAYG sim. Used pwnage to jailbreak/unlock version 2.0.2. All started up fine but "no service". Tried the "don't activate" tip in pwnage and got a screen in iTunes saying the sim card inserted is not supported and a connect to iTunes logo on the phone?

Tried bootneuter on the phone directly. A little success, "no service" became one bar, but then went back to "no service".

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe it's my sim.

at the end of the tutorial u might want to add that, there will be a carrier service although no signal.. to get the signal all u have to do is go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings and it works like a charm!!
