I do belive they are the same, and it is pretty much fact, see during the credits they credit Jacob brent as Mr.Mistoffelees and show a clip while hes in his Quaxo outfit, without stating that he is Quaxo their, so either the two cats are the same, or Quaxo just wasent present at all in the DVD at all.
@DontBeAZombie Well Quaxo is in the video because Quaxo is Mistos chorus. Plus the DVD is flawed majorly for a lot of things, so I don't follow a lot of what happens in the video.
@catwomanjellicle I know hes the chorus, but hes not credited as being Quaxo, also the two cats are very much the same, personalitys and Quaxo uses Mgic at odd times during the show Like opening the truck for Jenny, or turing on the lights after the mateing dance. I dont think Mistoffelees is old anuff to be the father of Quaxo either, but i really dont mind them being different Cats, since in live productions they often are.

Quaxo on the other hand is far more obvious. And I didn't mean Quaxo was a different cat, Quaxo is very much the same cat, because I mean, even Quaxo has his 'mystic/magic' moments, but they arent as in your face as Mistos.
@catwomanjellicle Yes, thats a good point but when crediting Rumpus Cat or Macavity they dont show clips of Plato or Admetus, thats why I figure the two are diff Cats, while Misto and Quaxo are still the same. I think Mistos magic was just more flashy because the song was about him and his magic, so of course its a free check to show off all he wants.
@DontBeAZombie Plato and Admetus arent the same charries as Maccy and Rumpus, it's just a hassle to have extra actors when they can easily doudle as other characters :P heh You know what I think, I think they should make another CATS video! :O
Whether or not Quaxo is Mistoffelees is completely up to personal interpretation. I choose to believe they are the same cat because for one, they always call him "Magical MR. Mistoffelees" (no first name is ever mentioned, and they never actually address him before his big number), and for two, it means (in my mind) that I get to see him more, since he is my favorite cat. I'm so jealous of Victoria!
like I said, most people reckon mistoffelees is just the fancy name for quaxo, but it doesn't really matter. i tend to think they are the same, because quaxo appears to have the same powers as mistoffelees, but it doesnt really matter to me. RUG doesnt specify whether they're the same or not

You can't say that for sure. There's no evidence linking to that. They may both be played by the same actor simply because it's easier.
Hence why I never say anything without CATS and claim it to be 'true'. CATS is completely open to opinions, but nothing is said to be actually true.
