That's only what u think.

2 stroke makes better sound in the powerband sounds like u are going to take off.

And a 2 stroke has 75% more power then a 4 stroke with the same cc's. ;)

@epiphonesg007 Yes but a 4-stroke will last 10,000 miles without blowing it's head. I have rebuilt 3 RS50 engines ( I used to own one, not just an obscure interest!) and each one has needed a new top end, piston rings etc, None of them had done over 30,000 miles.....

Lol, i've had a rs125 and rs50 when i was little.

And they both could go about 18-20000 kilometres that's more then 10k miles.

I don't know how you handle them but 10k miles isn't a lot.

You just had rubbish ones, where kids have touched and messed up things.

I've seen a few that had over 80-90k kilometres, offcourse the cilinder has been replaced a few times and other stuff but they worked.

@epiphonesg007 lol 10k was an exaggeration but I seriously haven't got/seen one over 30k. You can't lie though it is a generally unreliable bike!

LOL 135km/h is shit if its bored up to an 80cc. Standard 99-05 will easily do 70 standard... Haha ripped off.

How long does it take to learn how to shift gears on a RS 50

@zidane9100 I never went a geared bike before my RS50 I got last month. (Crashed it, videos on my channel)

The gears are easy once someone tells you what way to do it you'll be fine, it takes a few attempts to get used to take off without stalling though. Good luck if your getting one, I'm buying an old one like this now, since I wrote of my 10 plate.

Well i live in england and the speed limit for a ped or motor bike is 32 mph. I ride a rs 50 and that is ball shit they stop 50 % of people Lol. my bike dose 67mph and i have been stopped 5 or 6 times and the never said any thing about a fine or how fast my bike goes. Nooob lol

you won't destroy your gearbox if you gear without clutch, youll only slightly damage the gearforks, but it takes really long before those are f*cked

If you change up without the clutch it wont reli make a noticeable difrence in the box but changing down without the clutch is reli quite bad.

this is a 6speed legal to drive at 16 in the uk, im getting 1 soon, also if you get your other test its legal to drive with another person, as my mum is buying the bike for around £1500 she is going on the back :) Haha fun

On way home frm skol my m8 went past us on his rs50 doin about 55 he said, top end he has had is 63mph, you can derestrict and still do the speed limit you know, just giv it a gallup up a country road or summin, theres nothing bad about doin the speed limit

yer there is... if the bike goes over 32mph the police take it strait away it has to be limited to 32mph or only go 32mph, i got told they stop 50% of mopeds they see as its so commen that the bike can go over 32mph and gets taken away also adding £150 fine too... i just got my leathers and helmet... day look mint! i just hope i dont get caught

yes mate i no alot of ppl have been pulled over but its 2 check if they are lisanced, where i am we hav god some peds tht do 70mph, there was 1 tht did 75 but the engine broke eventually, i think 65 is fine, i saw me m8 on his rs 2day again razzin it through the village lol, just have fun and stay safe

yea 32mph does suck, but when i did my cbt the insructor told me that they shouldnt be resticted a 32mph, becouse if your in a 60mph zone everyone is going to wanna take over you, so really it just makes it more dangerous

it's all about the engine... when it's above 125 cc it's classified as a motorbike, and the rs is a 50 cc...
