I agree with XOmniverse on almost everything. I agree with most of his points about Ron Paul. I like Ron Paul a lot, his views are very anarchic compared to the next guy and I like him exactly for that reason. His chances of getting elected are 0%.
Even if he got the votes, something would prevent this from happening, anything. And if he was president he would being fighting congress continuously. Congress is evil from the stand point of non coercion, but I'm an anarchist.
I don't think the point of the video was that Ron Paul is bad (he said he was mediocre but thats not the point) the point was more that the culture in ameirca isn't ready for what Paul is talking about. To revolutionize the governmental system back to its rooms a change in culture and preception must be initiated because party politics and hand outs have become common place in the general political discourse in america.
You're probably correct, there were two important factors in why I thought the original video was in fact a waste of time...
1- the popularity ie the rEVOLution and
2- anarchy is not the solution
A return to restrained federal government is the solution and because it is written in law facilitates a broader acceptance thus more likely to bring about change.
How is it a non issue. Even when he was denying it he says "I'm the only candidate who care about minorities because I want I'm against harsh drug laws" I agree there always dirty dealings during elections and it could be false, but if you're gonna make a blanket statement like "All minorities suffer from tough drug laws." I kinda tend to believe you're a racist.
drug laws are targeted against minorities. From the earliest days of drug laws where opium was banned because of the fears about white women being seduced by chinese (fact) or weed being banned because of fears about crazed negroes(fact). By the drug laws a kilo of cocaine, which is known as a white persons drug because of its high cost will render less than half of the time for the same amount of crack which is a black persons drugs. The history channel did a very good show on the topic.
Um the guy is a racist...Google his 90s newsletter where he says the race riots were caused by the blacks wanting to pick up their welfare checks. He also said nasty things about gays isrealis and AIDS victims. Ron Paul denies writing and reading it much like Alberto Gonzoles. I don't know how something can be published with your name on it and you have no clue about it. Especially if its your own newsletter.
@AllPwrflSteve He will not be the establisment's nominee. That is how I know you are wrong about him. It is the establishment that made these arguments to which you are referring to. They always knock down the ones that will actually change something. I just want you to know that you are wrong.
Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate with a clear plan that has worked in the past before politicians messed with the formula. Obama, McCain, Clinton, Romney... no clue and no plan for getting our economy out of the tank or revamping our foreign to something that makes sense.
Lol. Just like most of Obama's video's, this XOmniverse character disables comments. Wonder why? Maybe because he's afraid of rejection for his beliefs or for someone to come along and prove him wrong. He's just some pessimist who hates his own life so he wants to come along and drag everyone into his miserable little existence. Ron Paul has a very high chance of winning. The people in this country demand it.
I believe xomniverse disabled because he felt misunderstood- and in many cases he was. I for instance mistook what he said thinking he was refering to Dr. Paul as an anarchist. Also, he doesn't object to Dr. Paul on his platform or on his voting record... xomniverse opposes ALL elections, all parties, he is an anarchist :-)
one certainly should not vote as when you cast a ballot you are legitimizing the immoral process by which an extreme minority establishes control of the overwhelming majority, but the revolution should certainly be encouraged for its ideological and educational value.
Of course I think the first sentence is absurd and encourage EVERYONE TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL :-D The constitutional republic must be preserved to protect the rights of the INDIVIDUAL not any COLLECTIVE.
the significance does not lie so so much with what ron paul will do in office to restrict government to its constitutional limitations, but rather the ideas that paul would bring into the forefront of politics. education and public awareness are absolutely fundamental.
A gentlemanly reminder is insufficient and won't even make a dent in the education system that took 60 years to infiltrate and merge with the soviet model. What Pauls influence will do is ignite young men and women to the cause of truth, historical fact for them to rile up those around them and continue the rEVOLution. We must purge the CFR traitors from our system.
Yes! He looks pure, unscathed, genuine and wise. Whereas all the others are swathed in inuendo, slickness and what they think is cleverness but is in fact sarcasm (the weakest form of argument); they offer patently pre-packaged, pre-screened scripting by CFR and military industrial complex.
i dont believe paul himself will ever be able to make any real concrete significant changes. a society is molded by the ideas of its people. the real significance of ron paul's campaign that omniuniverse i believe conveniently overlooked, is the fact that paul's campaign has brought awareness of the laissez faire message of classical liberalism.
Of course you are entitled to your opinion and as a matter of clarity I think above most, if not all, others in his situation Paul understands the limits of what any president can and most importantly SHOULD do. He better than any other i've seen in my lifetime will affect change by example and even if we despise the power of the bully-pulpit his message is needed NOW.
omniuniverse did not refer to paul as an anarchist. omniuniverse is an anarchist, a libertarian, and a capitalist. he was speaking of what he believes should be our ultimate socio-economic goals.
You know I have never felt like this concerning a politician before Rep Ron Paul. I have donated numerous times, I have educated people (Well as much as I can), and they all agreed with his platform.
Thanks for your reply I enjoyed watching it. You are well spoken and quite eloquent and last and CERTAINLY Not Least, thank you for your help in getting voters educated about Ron Paul.
I too have NEVER felt this way about a politician before.
I prayed and prayed for a film director to write and depict our struggle with Truth about the income tax and along came Aaron Russo and his film: America-Freedom to Fascism.
Then I prayed for a politician to come along and support the film via legislation and along came Ron Paul.
There is, IMHO, divine intervention happening. Please keep up your efforts and add some prayers. Also- please make sure you're registered as a republican to support Paul in your primary and act as a PAUL-DELEGATE.
On another note, I am bothered by the fact that the Granite state voters chose who they did. I know some would call me a conspiracy theorist but I do believe that there was voter fraud in NH. Supposedly 44% of anti-Iraq voters went with McCain is it me or does anyone else see an issue with this? Personally, I feel that a recount is needed.
An official vote count from New Hampshire elections officials will be available late Jan 9th or Jan 10th. We will have to wait to analyze those results.
"Waste of time" implies that the person is voting in a popularity contest and not in based on integrity of principle. It is no different than prostitution. People who think like this are moral whores.
As a Republican for 18 years. I'd rather see Any democrat than more warmongering neocons.
You're right- I was just trying to lighten it up a bit. It's strange how often folks attack the 'looks' of the messenger rather than simply debate the issues.
Oh Well. Are you registered as a republican and will you support Dr. Paul in the Primaries palehorsepalerider?
Thanks. Dr. Paul puts it beautifully, he asks- and I'm paraphrasing; 'What does Japan do? They go to market and buy the oil needed. Why should it be any different for the U.S.?'
And when there's no more oil- that's when the enginuity of free markets will shine. Hopefully our free markets will look at a withdrawal from the middle east as the incentive to get off their duffs and get to manufacturing again. The thing that made us a great industrialized nation.
We currently have tech that will operate a gasoline engine on TAP WATER!
There are millions of examples of where our fascist government has shelved excellent inventions for the sake of 'national security' or FAVORED CORPORATIONS (ie OIL INDUSTRY).
My only reference/knowledge of water fuel (hydrogen) is by way of Stan Myers an American. But its good to know others are involved an making progress in the same venue- Stan Myers was killed (allegedly).
i gave him an excellent response, I've developed into a hard-core republican, but i can at times keep an open mind, and i thought he was right. Ron Paul cannot change anything without the help of senate congress courts media. As much as Americans like to think, they do not control this country, and it is not "sarcasm and mainstream media" its conservative grit against libertarian idealism, its not some huge controversy with a complex explanation its just a way of thinking
I saw no video response by you healeyRA5 on either the orig or his f/up vid; which is too bad cuz your comment here leads one to believe it would have been pretty interesting.
Why not post to my video? I'm curious as to how you'll go about explaning the grit (what I call corruption and predetermined bent) by 'conservatives' (aka media? who? hannity, oreilley?) against libertarian 'idealism'.
its near impossible to have a world where one person's freedom doesn't infringe on another's rights, i think libertarianism is the perfect system, but only in the perfect world, for people who think like libertarians its great, but then what happens with the conservatives, neocons, criminals, liberals, they just wont fit in and the system wont work..therefor..its idealism, and by conserv. grit i mean just that man-up type of attitude so commonly displayed by our type
Idyllic worlds don't exist, period, whether it be socialist, communist, dem, rep, lib anarchy. However, if the maxims of freedom and the obvious natural laws apply, then any system relying on plunder to acheive its goals is set upon a foundation of criminal activity- and surely will self-destruct.
Sorry I missed this post till now- The beauty of free-markets is... without government interference (except to prevent breach of contracts and monopolies from forming) the market hungers toward innovation. As long as the current status quo machine supports oil we will have little innovation.
This is why Dr. Paul, his platform, can remain so uplifting even while exposing the problems- he offers a free market at its best, with sound money and no tolerance of violence.
It's a very upbeat way to live and is exactly what brought our country to the industrial power of the world. Freedom does this.
Don't wait, most folks just appreciate hearing opinions expressed clearly by regular folks. Please notify me when you decide to film I'd like to hear it.
The wasted vote myth is pretty simple to defeat: voting for the status quo, & voting for people that are so "sure" to win is a BIGGER WASTE than voting for Ron Paul! He might not have the odds, but if they DO have the odds, then what difference does it make if you vote for them or RP? Both sides are very evil, so there's no "lesser of 2 evils" issue!
Sorry to comment about the other guys video, but he disabled comments and I don't have a camera...but aren't we following his sagely advice for change already? "Talk to people, get them interested in Liberty"...that's exactly what is happening right now.
Amen! Yes we are. There's no bigger waste of time than an anarchist... they are the reproductive equivalents (in politics) as a human ameoba (which there is no such thing). Dr. Ron Paul means change and I'm doing everything I can to make sure that happens.
I might be taking LadyJade's methods of curtailing the one-note support for Dr. Paul by limiting the 9/11 stuff posted on my videos. Don't be offended by it, I just believe it is too narrow and doesn't represent the big picture. We need Dr. Paul in office for a multitude of reasons, not just the one issue. :-)
Hilary, Obama, Ron Paul wont filibuster the War Funding because dying americans in a illegal war isnt worth thier time. Mike Gravel filibustered for 5 months to end the vietnam draft. Start supporting someone who supports you. Vote Mike Gravel 2008!
Dr. Paul has a MUCH broader understanding of the issues with solutions directed to free markets and a following of persons who've long been constitutionalists just praying a statesman like him would run. I don't care for Gravel's socialized message. Also, if the existing laws are upheld it's unecessary to employ NI4D.
I disagree, Dr. Paul would go to great lengths to end the war. Further his diplomacy, and strong patriotism will be the healing element needed to accomplish the withdrawl while maintaining our dignity. Hillary is a Beyotch and would be disasterous to our image.
Gravel has some good points, sure. But can't hold a candle to how well researched and how well rounded Dr. Paul is on all the issues, not just one or two (like MG). Go Dr. Paul!
Well researched and well rounded? Ron Paul cant even write a piece of legislation that would begin to end corruption in government. RP doesnt even have the guts to introduce Mike Gravels "Withdrawl from Iraq" plan to congress because hes afraid of rocking the boat. We need more than talk of the consitution. We need plans to abolish government corruption like the NI4D. Until people have a true voice in government will remain a dictatorship even if RP heart is in the right place.
Nah N14d is simply not going to work in a constitutional republic. It puts the individual in jeopardy when 51% can vote the minority out of their property or their freedom.
Libertarianism is not Anarchy. That is just the way that people mangle the message. If he thinks voting for Ron Paul is a waste of time why is posting a video about why it is a waste of time not a waste of time?
Looks like he wants to waste his time so he should just vote for Dr. Paul and waste some time with me.
lol! I misunderstood the original post... the POSTER is an anarchist he was not refering to Dr. Paul. Anarchists ARE the biggest waste of time. but I thought the man was articulate, if not petulant.
People need to wake up and know that a voting record or pointing out problems wont fix the problem. Ron Paul has no written legislation to fix the issues in our Governmet. What we need is Mike Gravel as President. Gravel wrote the NI4D which empowers citizens as lawmakers on the federal level. You have to realise that people need to fix the goverment and not the president, the only way to do this is the NI4D, until people realise there is no hope for our country
There's no doubt the public has to work at being good sovereign citizens. Even something as simple as educating jurors to their powers would greatly improve things AND by doing so we ARE lawmakers. I am vehemently opposed to putting another attorney in office for exactly that reason- I'm fed up with attorneys screwing with our sovereignty.
Ron Paul introduces more pieces of legislation than ANYONE else. They are all referred to commitee and never brought up again, because the establsihment is SCARED of Ron paul. Just so you know
We the people have to do something and cant keep on replying on one person. A vote for Mike Gravel is a vote for the NI4D and that gives us a real voice in government. Under the NI4D alot of corruption in government could be abolished. Look it up NI4D! Mike Gravel 08!
NI4D... Where if 51% of you all want what I have you simply write in your vote and if successful you get what I got too bad for me? Is that not what results from NI4D? If so, I don't think so! GO DR. PAUL We need you in the oval office NOW>
Yes, so true. And I have to ask what kyeot would have the likes of Ron Paul do... nothing? just give up trying? ridiculous. Of course Ron Paul keeps sponsoring bills to uphold the constitution, that is his JOB and he's the only one I can see doing it faithfully. :-) thanks for the post seiferothx
I've taken a good long look at Gravel and not happy about what I see (in Kucinich either), especially NI4D- a crazy democracy driven agenda. I'll take a constitutional republic over that nutty plan any day of the week and we have an ideal leader for that in Ron Paul. Go Dr. Paul.
The market anarchist community will not arrive miraculously. The longest journey begins with a single step. We are not that far apart. Ron Paul unites people. I do vote, and I will vote for Ron Paul. I believe in this dream!
Erh, no it's probably not mainstream, upstream or downstream. It's hard to fathom how anyone enjoying technical wonders (internet) prefers the chaos of anarchy. LOL well at least I understand now why you said, "voting sanctions the system".
Anarchy isn't about chaos, or utopia. Read some of the articles on simplyanarchy dot com for some info. I didn't take the position of anarchy lightly, and I was a minarchist for a long time.
I don't really understand why I am required to pick a candidate. If I had to pick one (such as if voting were compulsory) it would be Ron Paul.
But I am against the system as a whole. Democracy (even representative democracy) is nothing more than a tool for people to force their way of life on each other. Ron Paul won't change this.
Then why discuss Ron Paul at all, why post the name of any candidate to promote this message if not for the fact that the odds increase you'll get a response with Ron Paul in your header etc. If you were a truist you would not bother naming a candidate.
There has been a disturbing trend in the market anarchist community among some people to nearly deify Ron Paul and participate in the coercive system of democracy as a result. The video was largely a reaction to that.
Anarchy and Chaos are no the same thing. He is doing his job as an Anarchist by stiring our pot here in the Ron Paul camp. It is a waste of time to defend Ron Paul aginst this one poor soul. It is like trying to convince someone that there is value to a spiritual life if they are convinced that they do not believe. I have faith in Dr. Paul and enjoy trying to lend my hand in his support. So it is not a waste of time to me no more than listening to music or making art.
Good to bring these things up. I would rather someone not vote than vote for someone other than Ron Paul. Just seems like a waste for someone who holds these kinds of beliefs (wants to be left alone etc.) to not want to help Dr. Paul. After all he is risking his life saying the things he saying i respect that and am doing all i can for him.
looks like you like to waste time or why would you post that video about Ron Paul being a waste of time. So just agree that to waste time is not such a bad thing and waste some time with us promoting Ron Paul!!
"looks like you like to waste time or why would you post that video about Ron Paul being a waste of time. So just agree that to waste time is not such a bad thing and waste some time with us promoting Ron Paul!!"
That is cool you can be an anarchist if you want to be. Doing a nice job here of it. Nothing wrong with stiring the pot. You just have to admit that the comments made in RPs defence are better than you would get with the Lamestream Media Candidates if you were stiring there pot.
I agree with XOmniverse on almost everything. I agree with most of his points about Ron Paul. I like Ron Paul a lot, his views are very anarchic compared to the next guy and I like him exactly for that reason. His chances of getting elected are 0%.

Thanks.
The thing that made us a great industrialized nation.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
We currently have tech that will operate a gasoline engine on TAP WATER!
There are millions of examples of where our fascist government has shelved excellent inventions for the sake of 'national security' or FAVORED CORPORATIONS (ie OIL INDUSTRY).
We'll be fine with freedom.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Yes, that engine was made by Rothman, a Canadian company.

My only reference/knowledge of water fuel (hydrogen) is by way of Stan Myers an American. But its good to know others are involved an making progress in the same venue- Stan Myers was killed (allegedly).
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
remember to tell everyone what Ron Paul can do as president he can and will get us out of Iraq how about that for starters. Sounds Like a good start
timetofly5 4 years ago
Excellent suggestion. How about making a video reply to that end? :-D please!
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
i gave him an excellent response, I've developed into a hard-core republican, but i can at times keep an open mind, and i thought he was right. Ron Paul cannot change anything without the help of senate congress courts media. As much as Americans like to think, they do not control this country, and it is not "sarcasm and mainstream media" its conservative grit against libertarian idealism, its not some huge controversy with a complex explanation its just a way of thinking
HealeyIRA5 4 years ago
I saw no video response by you healeyRA5 on either the orig or his f/up vid; which is too bad cuz your comment here leads one to believe it would have been pretty interesting.
Why not post to my video? I'm curious as to how you'll go about explaning the grit (what I call corruption and predetermined bent) by 'conservatives' (aka media? who? hannity, oreilley?) against libertarian 'idealism'.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
How about just the PRACTICALITY of libertarianism???? Why skew the convo with words like 'ideal'? ANyway, thanks for commenting, pls reply.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
its near impossible to have a world where one person's freedom doesn't infringe on another's rights, i think libertarianism is the perfect system, but only in the perfect world, for people who think like libertarians its great, but then what happens with the conservatives, neocons, criminals, liberals, they just wont fit in and the system wont work..therefor..its idealism, and by conserv. grit i mean just that man-up type of attitude so commonly displayed by our type
HealeyIRA5 4 years ago
Idyllic worlds don't exist, period, whether it be socialist, communist, dem, rep, lib anarchy. However, if the maxims of freedom and the obvious natural laws apply, then any system relying on plunder to acheive its goals is set upon a foundation of criminal activity- and surely will self-destruct.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
alright good point, but what about when we run out of resources and have to rely on taking other people's to survive
stampdaddy 4 years ago
Sorry I missed this post till now- The beauty of free-markets is... without government interference (except to prevent breach of contracts and monopolies from forming) the market hungers toward innovation. As long as the current status quo machine supports oil we will have little innovation.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
This is why Dr. Paul, his platform, can remain so uplifting even while exposing the problems- he offers a free market at its best, with sound money and no tolerance of violence.
It's a very upbeat way to live and is exactly what brought our country to the industrial power of the world. Freedom does this.

SLCThunk 4 years ago 2
Thank you! That's terrific.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Sorry to comment about the other guys video, but he disabled comments and I don't have a camera...but aren't we following his sagely advice for change already? "Talk to people, get them interested in Liberty"...that's exactly what is happening right now.
chefry828 4 years ago
Amen! Yes we are. There's no bigger waste of time than an anarchist... they are the reproductive equivalents (in politics) as a human ameoba (which there is no such thing). Dr. Ron Paul means change and I'm doing everything I can to make sure that happens.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
911 was done by Bush!!! Vote Ron Paul in 08 for truth!!!
ronpaul911 4 years ago
I might be taking LadyJade's methods of curtailing the one-note support for Dr. Paul by limiting the 9/11 stuff posted on my videos. Don't be offended by it, I just believe it is too narrow and doesn't represent the big picture. We need Dr. Paul in office for a multitude of reasons, not just the one issue. :-)

Ron PAUL IS THE MAN!!!!
He got a bad response, but he thought his bad response was his "loyal viewers" that is why he reacted that way.
He was hurt. *HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHAA* HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
h20Enthusiast 4 years ago
Hilary, Obama, Ron Paul wont filibuster the War Funding because dying americans in a illegal war isnt worth thier time. Mike Gravel filibustered for 5 months to end the vietnam draft. Start supporting someone who supports you. Vote Mike Gravel 2008!
kyeot 4 years ago
Dr. Paul has a MUCH broader understanding of the issues with solutions directed to free markets and a following of persons who've long been constitutionalists just praying a statesman like him would run. I don't care for Gravel's socialized message. Also, if the existing laws are upheld it's unecessary to employ NI4D.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
I disagree, Dr. Paul would go to great lengths to end the war. Further his diplomacy, and strong patriotism will be the healing element needed to accomplish the withdrawl while maintaining our dignity. Hillary is a Beyotch and would be disasterous to our image.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Gravel 08! He the man!
seltzerwater464 4 years ago
Gravel has some good points, sure. But can't hold a candle to how well researched and how well rounded Dr. Paul is on all the issues, not just one or two (like MG). Go Dr. Paul!
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Well researched and well rounded? Ron Paul cant even write a piece of legislation that would begin to end corruption in government. RP doesnt even have the guts to introduce Mike Gravels "Withdrawl from Iraq" plan to congress because hes afraid of rocking the boat. We need more than talk of the consitution. We need plans to abolish government corruption like the NI4D. Until people have a true voice in government will remain a dictatorship even if RP heart is in the right place.
kyeot 4 years ago
Nah N14d is simply not going to work in a constitutional republic. It puts the individual in jeopardy when 51% can vote the minority out of their property or their freedom.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Libertarianism is not Anarchy. That is just the way that people mangle the message. If he thinks voting for Ron Paul is a waste of time why is posting a video about why it is a waste of time not a waste of time?
Looks like he wants to waste his time so he should just vote for Dr. Paul and waste some time with me.
jcwerner 4 years ago
lol! I misunderstood the original post... the POSTER is an anarchist he was not refering to Dr. Paul. Anarchists ARE the biggest waste of time. but I thought the man was articulate, if not petulant.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
People need to wake up and know that a voting record or pointing out problems wont fix the problem. Ron Paul has no written legislation to fix the issues in our Governmet. What we need is Mike Gravel as President. Gravel wrote the NI4D which empowers citizens as lawmakers on the federal level. You have to realise that people need to fix the goverment and not the president, the only way to do this is the NI4D, until people realise there is no hope for our country
kyeot 4 years ago
There's no doubt the public has to work at being good sovereign citizens. Even something as simple as educating jurors to their powers would greatly improve things AND by doing so we ARE lawmakers. I am vehemently opposed to putting another attorney in office for exactly that reason- I'm fed up with attorneys screwing with our sovereignty.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Ron Paul introduces more pieces of legislation than ANYONE else. They are all referred to commitee and never brought up again, because the establsihment is SCARED of Ron paul. Just so you know
SeiferothX 4 years ago
We the people have to do something and cant keep on replying on one person. A vote for Mike Gravel is a vote for the NI4D and that gives us a real voice in government. Under the NI4D alot of corruption in government could be abolished. Look it up NI4D! Mike Gravel 08!
kyeot 4 years ago
NI4D... Where if 51% of you all want what I have you simply write in your vote and if successful you get what I got too bad for me? Is that not what results from NI4D? If so, I don't think so! GO DR. PAUL We need you in the oval office NOW>
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Yes, so true. And I have to ask what kyeot would have the likes of Ron Paul do... nothing? just give up trying? ridiculous. Of course Ron Paul keeps sponsoring bills to uphold the constitution, that is his JOB and he's the only one I can see doing it faithfully. :-) thanks for the post seiferothx
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Gravel/Paul/Kucinich!
Substance over Packaging for 08!
seltzerwater464 4 years ago
I've taken a good long look at Gravel and not happy about what I see (in Kucinich either), especially NI4D- a crazy democracy driven agenda. I'll take a constitutional republic over that nutty plan any day of the week and we have an ideal leader for that in Ron Paul. Go Dr. Paul.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Democracy --- the unknown ideal.
The U.S. is run by corporations that control everything that we breath, hear, watch, drink and eat.
Why not try people power, eh?
seltzerwater464 4 years ago
The market anarchist community will not arrive miraculously. The longest journey begins with a single step. We are not that far apart. Ron Paul unites people. I do vote, and I will vote for Ron Paul. I believe in this dream!
richonhill 4 years ago
Dr. Paul represents leadership capable of restoring constitutional law to the republic.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
My alternative market anarchy. Abandon the state altogether. I bet that's not throughout the mainstream media :)
XOmniverse 4 years ago
I should clarify. I wasn't calling Ron Paul an anarchist. I am an anarchist.
XOmniverse 4 years ago
Erh, no it's probably not mainstream, upstream or downstream. It's hard to fathom how anyone enjoying technical wonders (internet) prefers the chaos of anarchy. LOL well at least I understand now why you said, "voting sanctions the system".
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Anarchy isn't about chaos, or utopia. Read some of the articles on simplyanarchy dot com for some info. I didn't take the position of anarchy lightly, and I was a minarchist for a long time.
XOmniverse 4 years ago
So how about answering the question... which candidate? Or did the thread end with 'any vote sanctions the systems'.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
I don't really understand why I am required to pick a candidate. If I had to pick one (such as if voting were compulsory) it would be Ron Paul.
But I am against the system as a whole. Democracy (even representative democracy) is nothing more than a tool for people to force their way of life on each other. Ron Paul won't change this.
XOmniverse 4 years ago
Then why discuss Ron Paul at all, why post the name of any candidate to promote this message if not for the fact that the odds increase you'll get a response with Ron Paul in your header etc. If you were a truist you would not bother naming a candidate.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
There has been a disturbing trend in the market anarchist community among some people to nearly deify Ron Paul and participate in the coercive system of democracy as a result. The video was largely a reaction to that.
XOmniverse 4 years ago
Anarchy and Chaos are no the same thing. He is doing his job as an Anarchist by stiring our pot here in the Ron Paul camp. It is a waste of time to defend Ron Paul aginst this one poor soul. It is like trying to convince someone that there is value to a spiritual life if they are convinced that they do not believe. I have faith in Dr. Paul and enjoy trying to lend my hand in his support. So it is not a waste of time to me no more than listening to music or making art.
jcwerner 4 years ago
THIS is a GOOD post and I thank you for it.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
Good to bring these things up. I would rather someone not vote than vote for someone other than Ron Paul. Just seems like a waste for someone who holds these kinds of beliefs (wants to be left alone etc.) to not want to help Dr. Paul. After all he is risking his life saying the things he saying i respect that and am doing all i can for him.
jcwerner 4 years ago
Me too my friend, me too. Thank you for keeping in touch :-) G-d Bless Dr. Paul, G-d Bless America

why don't you shut up already?
utubesucksbawls 4 years ago
A better question is; why should I?
XOmniverse 4 years ago
looks like you like to waste time or why would you post that video about Ron Paul being a waste of time. So just agree that to waste time is not such a bad thing and waste some time with us promoting Ron Paul!!
jcwerner 4 years ago
"looks like you like to waste time or why would you post that video about Ron Paul being a waste of time. So just agree that to waste time is not such a bad thing and waste some time with us promoting Ron Paul!!"
I'm not too sure, but that might be very clever.
ProspectorSam 4 years ago
That is cool you can be an anarchist if you want to be. Doing a nice job here of it. Nothing wrong with stiring the pot. You just have to admit that the comments made in RPs defence are better than you would get with the Lamestream Media Candidates if you were stiring there pot.
