I got my K-3 the M42 lens mount version. problem is... I dont know how to remove the lens/ take the lens off so I put on my 35mm slr lens. can you show it how? I'm starting to think that my camera is broken due to this problem, but it cannot be. any help will be appreciated
@MrDaniPratomo Hi, First make sure if your Krasnogorsk has a thread: M42x1mm (Pentax Screw) or a Russian bayonet mount. Then to remove a screw-mount lens, grab firmly and unscrew (counterclockwise). If it is in very tight, you might have to apply a lot of force. To remove a bayonette-mount lens, push the two little knobs clockwise about 10 degrees, then pull the lens straight out. On the other hand your K3 is not compatable with 35mm SLR lenses. (unless it has been rigged,)
Nicely made, but I have a few suggestions to other K3 owners. 90 percent of you wont get your camera to auto load like this. Don't worry, on the two rollers immediately where the film goes into and finally out of the mechanism, lift these up and swing them out of the way. They move a few millimetres. Also gently lift the back plate (sometimes called film gate-wrongly) away. otherwise follow the steps in this video, then replace the back plate, swing rollers back. Check also with door on.
Precise my ass! This is good for museum purposes! Get yourself a proper full Digital Prosumer HD camera. For a 2000 Dollars you are in the business!
