  • Billieee!!! on your fucking birthday downloading illegal music! :DD hahahahaa i love you man!! you're a legendd!!!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!!!

  • To be 86'd is to be banned from somewhere, that's what the number means.

  • @whoatethecake But in 1986 they dont played at gilman street...?

  • @DrVic7 86 means to be banned from somewhere, as said by dolphinmonkeypoptart. GD was banned from Gilman. That's what the song is about

  • this bassline line is what makes you wanna hit shitt!

  • Isn't 86 the code that they use in the U.S. when someone is too intoxicated to serve alcholhol to in a bar? I took this song to mean that someone has really pissed him off so he 86'd them.

  • @dvda4 this song is about being kicked out of the underground punk scene, in 1986, they were playing at 942 gilm street as swet children, not green day, and he can go back (there is no return from 86)

  • Omg I fall in love with every old Green Day songs!!! ♥

  • Give me 86 THUMBS UP and no more just 86!!!!!!!

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY

    umm you got 87

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY LOL AT 87 LIKES.

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY LOL 87

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY Twoll :D

  • GOD I LOVE THIS SONG IT IS AWESOME AS FUCK!!!!

  • @SrpskiStevieG Your video's are sick, dude! Could you do Going To Pasalacque and Christie Road? I don't think you have done them but I bet you can do something awesome with them. :) Love your video's :)

  • Could you do a video for Going To Pasalacqua? I know that it's basically 1 verse and a chorus, but i can't stop watching you're videos.

  • 1 person is 924 Gilman Steet

  • 86 those patties Krabs. :P

  • What's this song about?

  • @CrazyBananaThing This song is about when Green Day was banned from 924 Gilman St. witch is fucked....

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY Ah, ok. c:

  • @ELIZEBETHGALLOWAY Funny how Billy has used years in a few great songs (80, 86) for song titles. Very under-rated songwriter. He reaches in deep (mentally) and writes his songs from within, straight from the heart. So many bands write meaningless, stupid and or silly lyrics these days, but not GD

  • @Metalmanmania357 Thats What I Call A Real Fan you seem cool...

  • Bet 942 Gilman Street now realise they are fucked because they banned Green Day :D

  • @whoatethecake no they are not . :) When they saw american idiot , they were proud that they banned them. :)

  • @ogiQQlele I'm sick of people say that. American Idiot was a good album. I mean sure not the best (that is Insomniac) But still a good album.

  • @Geekstinkbreath123 kiddo if you were really listening to green day before insomniac , you would never say that that comercial shit is good album. And now , here : Go on wikipedia before SOPA turns it off and write 39/Smooth , learn something.

  • @ogiQQlele I know what 39/smooth is. it's there first album I've heard songs from it like going to pasalacia, Why do you want him, Paper lanterns. Good songs. And like I said American Idiot isn't the best

  • @Geekstinkbreath123 Going to Pasalaqua*

  • 86 means 'over' or 'expired'

  • @LaBass666 Really? I did not know that it meant over or expired... I took it, as like the year 1986. Learn something new every day. Thanks for the clarification.

  • joe's apartment!! :D

  • hwo is 86?

  • Dont let the door kick you in the ass XD 0:40

  • Thinking about it, it's good that they left gilman, (although they've now officially ballsed it up with fancy rock operas and expensive merchendise) as if the wouldnt have we wouldnt propably even know this band EXCISTED..

    -No return-

  • cool

  • Intro reminds me of "Achin To Be" by the Replacements and Pinhead Gunpowder

  • whats 86? does it hav any relation to 924 gilman? jus wondering

  • @pyroslayer83 86 is when someone gets banned from a club, and i think this is about when Green Day signed to a record label so 924 gilman gave them 86 and banned them from their club so they made this song to show they dont give a fuck about gilman street

  • @LuKeaZade101 Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was about the year. WOW how fucking retarded I feel.

  • 1 person got 86ed

  • @14hoklaamchengh1

make that 4 people.. counting Green Day :)

  • <33

  • imma 86 1 person

  • one person is of 86

  • That one dislike is one of those guys from 924 Gilman St.:( SCREW THEM! THEY'RE JUST JEALOUS THAT GREEN DAY IS ONE OF THE WORLDS BIGGEST BANDS WHILE THEY'RE NOT!

  • best band ever

  • green day should make a song called 69 0.o

  • @megakiller700 I with you on that (: lol

  • No their first song was in the album 1,039 Slappy Hours.

  • i wonder if this was their first song because they formed in 87

  • @SuperGreenday22 No their first song was on the album 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours that came out in 1991. This song came out in 1995 and was on their album "Insomniac.''

  • @theshadowofafigure 39 smooth came out in 89!!!!

  • @theshadowofafigure 39 smooth came out in 89!!!! kerplunk came out in 91!!

  • @Mr1GreenDayFan Ok, 39/Smooth was an EP that came out in 1989. I was talking about 1,039/SMOOTHED OUT SLAPPY HOURS that came out in 1991! And Kerplunk came out on January 17th, 1992!! They recorded Kerplunk in 1991 it didn't come out in 91!!! You seriously don't know Green Day if you thought that! :P

  • how and then hell do u dislike this song thts like agreeing with the gilman ass holes

  • That bass line, is so sexy.

  • Theres no return... from gay black sex...

  • There's no return from Gilman Street ♪

  • Thats so messed that Billie Mike and Tre were banned from 924 Gilman street! They loved that place!

  • easiest song to play on guitar from warning

  • @richardg136 Warning? This song is from Insomniac o.O

  • @NataliaWhatsername well i think this song is from the limited adetion warning album

  • @richardg136 Oh, alright then, sorry xD

  • @richardg136 What the hell??? This song is from INSOMNIAC NOT WARNING.

  • @theshadowofafigure idk it said it on the guitar tab i was useing to playthis i said the same thing

  • wow. This song really shows of the "strong independent black woman" in Billie Joe.

  • I was watching a documentary about green day yesterday and billie joe said that after the release of dookie he went back to the gilman's and they didnt let him enter. After some days he came back with a friend of him and he sneaked into the bathroom where he saw that someone had written "billie joe must die" on a wall. oh god this is pretty sad :(

  • @vasorockgirl how is the docu called

  • @PaudinsDrawings Unfortunately I dont remember

  • @vasorockgirl haha, ok. Anyways thanks for replying, enjoy listening.

  • @PaudinsDrawings its called "behind the music:green day" i just saw it yesterday.

  • @gdfan45 Dear GDfan45,

    Thanks for your comment, Seriously.

These comments that people are replying me are very usefull. I am watching the docu already. THANKS x'D

  • @vasorockgirl wats gilmans???

  • @3cs101 it's a punk rock club in Berkeley where Green Day used to play when they hadn't sign a contract with Warner yet... That club has some rules. Some of them are no drugs, no stage-diving and the bands who play there should be independent

  • @vasorockgirl Yeah, that documentary was Behind The Music Remastered with Green Day. I've seen that a few times and that is really sad that someone would right that about Billie Joe. If I was there I would kick that girls ass.

  • ♥♥♥

  • I love all songs theres no song that I don't like

  • @sashacoco111 Minus neo-nazi "Bound for glory", I believe that's what they are.

  • @GalGx007 i was busy last few days because i had exams so i couldn't do videos but now i have all the time so it's no problem :) thanks really appreciate that you want to send me songs but i have all dookie songs :)

  • What is "86"?

  • @girl0071000 "86" means that you are banned from returning to a club. Green Day was 86ed from 924 Gilman St. for signing to a major label instead of staying with Lookout. The East Bay punk scene rejected Green Day after the release of Dookie and Billie Joe wrote the song from an ex-fan's point of view, with the lyric "There's no return from 86" saying that they're banned from Gilman and that they really don't care, as they are now the world's greatest current punk rock act.

  • @SrpskiStevieG Thank you :). Now it makes sense.

  • @SrpskiStevieG you are the ultimate green day fan

  • @SrpskiStevieG this is all very true i love the fact that they dnt listen or take any shit from n e one and take thier own road green day is the best punk band ever and they always will be my favorite :) GO GREEN DAY!!!

  • @SrpskiStevieG green day is now more of a bad ass then ever

  • @girl0071000 and @SrpskiStevieG 86 might mean that too.... but it also means death...

So, saying there is no return from 86 is like saying there's no return from death. ;)
