my mom said I'll get a dog soon but she said when I'm not at home she'll put it in a cage for 6hrs!so it won't walk around and poop what should I do?

@cincyfan356 dogs won't poop where they sleep, unless they came from a puppy mill or backyard breeder. and the only reason other than that is because they are a pup and can't hold it. and SHAME ON YOU if you bought a puppy while you have to leave it alone for 8 hours a day for work!!!!

i actualy have never owned a kennle or crate of any of my dogs and they are extremely awesome! if my dog wants to go out it will come to me, sit and start barking or running around is a circle :p

dogs wont go potty in its den my dog can hold it blatter for almost 24 hours..altho she nos how to escape from them but she doesnt do it unless she feels she needs to protect me

i agree a crate is a great training tool as long as you let the dog out to potty before it goes in the crate
