  • putting a tennis ball on the ground or wall and then rolling your back over it works too.

  • @FlyinZX10R you are right! i play cricket and i like to lay down on a cricket ball before practise and roll around on my shoulders. It does look very stupid and perhaps funny but man it works like hell!

  • I wish I had one of these at home. I never have enough time to use it at the gym, and sometimes when I do, they're all in use! Awesome little things!

  • why did you all look this up if your just going to make fun? this is a useful exercise tool, and if you got off your fat ass and actually did exercise you might "GET IT"

  • Could you please tell me if its goed to use the roller every day and for how long ? thank you

  • where can i find such foam rollers?

  • Although a picture paints a thousand words, some commentary would have been good.

  • Thanks - wasn't sure how to go about rolling out the calves - this helps.

How tough/stiff is that foam roll? I've seen another trainer using a PVC pipe to roll out on....

  • And you should include fat in your.

  • @optimumperformance That's a typical gay mans response , I think faggot would be more necessary .

  • @NaturallyBeautifulQ ouch,that's gotta sting.

The fat comment, not the foam thing.

  • Look up M.A.T Muscle activation technique

  • Lots of good techniques, would have been a lot more watchable if you had given some kind of commentary or explanation of what you were doing, I still sat through it all but I'm a geek, lol. Thanks for posting.

  • LOL... I was watching this with my iPhone, and thought that there was something wrong with my it...

  • The foam roller and myo balls are now the most widely known and used self myofascial release methods. The ShiatsuBag is a new simple product that combines the benefits of both therapies and is lightweight and portable.

  • tried this at home- really works for it bands

  • A great book on trigger points is, "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" by Clair Davies. He explains it all in detail, with drawings and suggestions for performing it at home with simple things like a rubber ball. Check amazon for reviews and pricing. (And be sure not to skip the introduction pages!)

  • Yes, I have that book it's fantastic. Can save you loads of money on treatments.

  • I find it hard to believe that that guy has myofascial problems. Also, which exercise works for which fascia?

  • You are kind of missing the point of SELF myofascial release.

  • haha

  • \tell me what the point is off this
