I'm starting a Machinima of my own pretty soon here, and this is giving me a lot of great cinimetography ideas. Thanks a bunch!

I really enjoyed the Dead Space feel to it (not sure if that's what you're going for) but it was definitely a good spin you did.

I understand how hard editing can be, especially since the Halo: Reach camera is so jerky, but I'd like to critic by saying there were a couple shots that could've been trimmed.

For a first machinima...hell it's a great machinima regardless. Music really got me in the action, The camera angles were great, the plot... iffy but that is to be expected, the voice acting was actually pretty alright which is rare in these machinimas :D

@trogdor70 As far as these go, there is only so much you can do without it being ridiculous, but the editing is very nicely handled. It seems a little dark and I hope they stick to that or make it more so

Despite contrary belief, Machinima is not a lazy form of filmmaking, as it presents it own challenges, such as working with restricted animation and portraying specific scenes in a way that can be interpretted by the audience. It is also a good way for filmmakers to get a start, as they would avoid alot of short movie costs. (such as props, cameras)

People who machinimate do not "have no life" as that would simply be naming ALL filmmakers no-lifes. Machinima is simply a FORM of filmmaking.

This is really good. The only thing I would recommend is that you should give the zombies (or whatever they are) plasma pistols. The reason I say this is because it would seem odd having a guy with a pistol being chased by zombies with energy swords. Plus if you wanted to have a zombie around a corner for a certain scene, there would be no glow on the walls caused by an energy sword. Thats my opinion at least. Great job though.

Very good but a little constructive critisism is needed. Don't have your characters be side swiping when they are being charged by the zombies or whatever they're suppose to be. That tactic works great in a online game but not if you want your story to be believable. Other than that the voice acting was spot on so good job.
