I was really voicing my wonderment that there is so much of a reaction over making fun of MJ after his death, while the same accusations were being made while he was still alive, with much less of a response.

Why did the tabloids, critics, and naysayers not provoke a response like this while Jackson was still alive, even though their attacks were much worse than this?
Why does it seem that when someone dies no one is allowed to remember anything bad about them anymore?

I work with abused and screwed up kids and thier parents always 'seemed to be the best parents.' that's bullshit, plain and simple. He was strange and unusually attached to little boys. If you want to think he was just a sweet guy that loved little boys and monkeys, then fine. I live in the real world buddy. Monkey love, not so harmless. What kind of parent would settle outside of court if their child was actually molested? If that had happened to my child, I would have fought to the death until the guilty person met justice. But they didn't do that because Michael wasn't guilty. The fact is, they only wanted money. Michael did the right thing and gave it to them. Otherwise, it would have been drawn out longer and mentally damaged that kid more.

Thats what you would have done, how can you speak for someone else? You have no idea what kind of parents they were and you don't know what went into their decision to settle, which is still irregardless of the fact that if Michael was willing to settle there had to be a substantial amount of evidence against him, enough to convict him because if there wasn't it would have been much better for his image if he was acquitted of the charges.

Instead of crying and feeling bad about the death they celebrate the persons life in a way that you clearly don't understand. yes it is strange that prior to MJ's demise we can say anything we want but after he died, such comments are called insensitive. Funny thing is most people only discover a conscience after a person dies. Is that being a hypocrite? well, don't know but in my book if death causes you to think twice then maybe you are not cut out to comment in the first place.
