You know what really annoys me about the Twilight series? It's not that I hate it but, especially with the second film, it doesn't provide a good role model for young girls out there. Bella's life is all about Edward and if she isn't with him, she can't live :O that's how I see it. I'm not saying I hate it. It does have its good points too. This is just my opinion.

Hmm......I disagree. Every story is going to have it's downs---especially it's characters being "bad role models." And she cuts herself off from people who love her during and after Edward. I think it's obsessive, selfish, and a little unhealthy, making Bella a really weak character in my eyes. Her whole fear in the book was to keep getting older while he stayed young. If he was to grow old with her, she woudn't be freaking out. So I don't see how that would be considered shallow. Vampires aren't supposed to age. It's not an age discrimination thing--it's a myth. No need to get all worked up.

One of them, actually, was the typical handsome guy every girl wanted to date in school, so I don't know where you're getting that. Also, the characters Alice and Emmett, who are vampires AND major characters, are anything BUT boring, so your first statement is a complete misconception.

And another thing--it's fiction, it isn't supposed to be realistic; anything goes.
