I think the reporter mispronounced the name of the town, it must be pronounced as Nazaji. I lived and worked for a diamond mining company there in 2000-2002 (Chitotolo). Angola is heartbreakingly beautiful, rivers (within the concession area) are full of fish, people are very friendly-they love music, dance, friendship . They are ready to give you their smile in the morning even though they don't have any material possession. the general Angolan population are good hearted.

To say that Africa was a peaceful and happy place before colonisation is ignorance. Like I said, there was massive conflict and significant slavery among tribes in the region.
