After U Took Off The Main Back Cover Did That Expose The Main Camera Lense That Is Behind The Camera Lense lense Because Dirt Got Behind the first lense and is sitting on the cameras main lense and its pissing me off bc i cant clean it at all
why would you even bother doing this tutorial if you didnt plan on talking or putting annotations on the video. sorry but that makes for a very confusing and very bad tutorial
@WhatUpGANACHE read the description, this is not a professional tutorial. This video is really just me dicking around with the phone. I knew nothing about this phone 20 minutes before making this video. I just dicked around with it til I figured out how to correctly take it apart and reassemble it and decided to make a video of it. but otherwise yes I do agree this is a shitty tutorial
@shwndh well I did take this one apart 2 or 3 times before making this video. Honestly I did not know how to take this phone apart so I had to figure it out for myself:)
My Inspire got wet when a cup leaked in my car's cup holder. I'm hoping to not have to disassemble it. Any suggestions as to what works best? I've searched the internet and seen some say heat on low with a hair dryer and some not. I have a big bag of desiccant which came with a safe. I have it in a ziplock bag right now with battery, SIM and Micro SD card removed.
@braddunagan well if the motherboard got wet you will need to dissasemble it otherwise corrosion will continue to build and eventually eat away at the circuit board. this phone I have in the video was dropped in a puddle, after disassembling I simply used regular rubbing alcohol to soak the motherboard and let it dry over night (I would recommend 2-3 days though to dry) and reassembled and it worked fine afterwards. most peoples mistakes are trying to dry with rice, hair dryer, heat gun, etc
@6Italia0 Okay thanks I got the phone working but it has a spot under the screen. Looks like it's in the white background. Can I soak the screen in alcohol also? I want it cleaned out all the way.
@braddunagan No you never want to soak the lcd in any kind of liquid at all. It will only cause more damage to the LCD. I will have to see if the digitizer is separable from the LCD and that way you can just gently wipe it down with a micro fiber cloth
The reversed video is due to an issue with your kexts (drivers). Try to find an updated version of it, or uninstall and reinstall the kext. If that's a bit beyond your experience with mac, I'm sure they'd be able to fix it in under an hour at the mac store. If it doesn't bother you, then screw it, lol. Thanks for the vid :)
@inuyasha142474 thanks bro, but also do you know if there is a terminal code I could use because I usually justr mod everything on my macbook pro (which does the same thing as my mac air in this video) through the terminal
My best suggestion is to use micro tweezers and hope for the best but be very VERY careful since parts for this phone are very hard to find for the time being. When your extracting it be sure to edge it out slowly
@eviltig Oh I see. I was wondering. I just sold my iPhone 4 and bought a inpire off ebay that should hopefully arrive Friday so Im just looking at any and every video that pops up trying to understand the droid phones better since its my first one... Hafta get the root thing done on it for sure,

I inserted by mistake the SD card into the Sim Card slot. Any ideas on how to remove the SD card without screwing the card reader?
Thank you!
