"My Day is Coming", previously titled "Our Time Will Come", was written by Rivers Cuomo in 2006 and demoed (along with "Heart Songs") in a Japanese mega-mall recording studio while on his honeymoon in Japan. It is an ode to the underachieving U.S. men's soccer team. The song was release on Alone II in 2008.
