Wow! The chorus actually sounded really good! Usually in high school musicals the chorus sucks. Since I'm a soprano and not a belter I got to be one of the three girls that sings the high note in this song. It was so much fun!

amneris in this one was really good until she couldnt reach the notes and got extremely soft. the choreography was a little upsetting. Ive seen about 10 different productions of this show and Capital Hiigh school in olympia did it best when they had a fashion show during the dance break coming out of her closet. It was fabulous!

The reason it's called DISNEY'S AIDA is because when Tim rice and elton John wrote it they couldn't get someone to produce it so they went straight to disney and disney paid for it and produced it on broadway

Ya this is a good play for students Im, a music teacher and I played the lead piano for broadway last week with great sucsess. Although we tweaked the solos in the 72 measures of music this is great for you students to be inspired to act and play music. My personal favorite song is Easy as Life or Written in the stars.

If I understand the description corectly, this is the premiere of the School Edition. Coorect me if I'm wrong. MTI (the company that licenses AIDA) does editions of some of their shows tailored for high schools, called School Editions. I guess they just cut the runway part.

This is a very good play, my highschool did it and we had a lot more fun with this scene. we had a "fashion show" and the model were dressed in wild outfits and then amneris came out with a dress that lit up and everything. it was a blast!

She has a great voice, and it sounded wonderful, but it was kind of boring because no one was doing anything but sitting and singing.

I saw this on Broadway too with the marching band (we were doing it as a field show). It was phenomenal, and boy did I cry!
