  • the shape reminds me of melonpan... you should try making one... :) pretty neat and good... like cookie/bread

  • Dont put boiling hot water in the dough it kills the yeast

  • @heyyferr I didn't.

  • one ounce is 28 grams right. Long live Metric and Litre measurements

  • @Faramarzrastin 1 ounce is 2 tablespoons or 30 ml. I don't know how many grams.

  • Thank you for the video. For some reason I am terribly intimidated by "bread". How can that be? Our ancestors have been baking bread without "youtube" for thousands of years. Why can't I? It can't be that difficult, can it? You make it look easy enough. Maybe I can do it too. Sourdough is no problem. It is the "make the next day" or the "make in a few hours" that gets me. Wish me luck. No. I'M GOING TO DO THIS THING! I think I can. I think I can. I think I can:)

  • Good luck and have fun. I love fresh bread.

  • I've never made before in my life but gonna give it a try.

    Thanks for the informative video!

  • That's cheating using a bread kneading machine! ;-)

  • That is the only way I can get it to knead.

  • weird, you sound a lot like my mom.

  • Awesome

  • What a pity it's all about OZ, I have no idea what is means in grams... I can't understand why the metric system is not used in US .The oz, feets etc look so obsolete, they were used in Europe in the XIX century (LOL)

  • 1 ounce = 28.3495231 grams...something like that >,>

  • i believe you got this recipe from Alton Brown, on episode Season 8 Episode 19 "Dr.Strangeloaf"? don't worry, i love his recipes, glad you are sharing it. :)

  • I think I did. The favorite bread I make though is the Almost no knead bread I have a video on that too.

  • very tasty and very nice video

  • That bread looks very professional. I love making bread. I'm going to do this one.

  • I just had a slice, I toasted it. It is still good, I made it yesterday. The crust if crisp, but good.

  • that looked delisious after it was done!!!
