Or money grabbers. Come on, they're totally taking JK's idea and exploiting it to make money. They're not stupid, but lazy yes. They've stolen her idea and are using it to make money, they just can't be arsed to be a real band and write real songs. All of their songs are about Jk's characters with very primitive lyrics.
there are SOOO many other wizardrock bands that use the series to make harry potter related music... the whole point of their group isn't to form a "real" band, but to just have fun with it.
Cash in. I've got no beef with these guys, they're talented, creative and can certainly play their instruments, but they choose to hitch onto the Harry Potter ride instead of just being a real band. Easy money, the idea is already there, and then they just write a couple of lyrics and viola. JK is the genious out of all of this.
I disagree. I think they have more of a passion for reading and Harry Potter than they do for music. The point isn't to be a "real" band, it's to celebrate JK Rowling's masterpieces.
I don't hear her complaining. Frankly, I think it gains her money in some roundabout way by promoting children's literacy. It's not as though *she's* going to market her own band, so it's not exactly stealing a market. I agree that it's JK Rowling's works, and that it is JKR's right if she sees fit to sue the pants off of these guys, but she loves her fans, and this is nothing but promotion of her works.
you are so dumb and you have obviously never been to one of their concerts a ticket costs 7 dollars they arent in it for the money they are in it because they are the greatest of all time
I was at that show and it was great!! I love harry and the potters.

No, it's a way to get easy money off of someone else's idea.

The goal is to promote the Harry Potter books and children's literacy. Hence the "Reading and Rocking Tour" of 2006.

And benefit off of JK Rowling's rightful money in the process.
