It is unfortunate Tommy's dream has been perverted by the Liberals and the P.C.'s. In Canada they exclude a segment of the population from health care. Do they exclude homosexuals? No. young unwed mothers? No. Coloured people? No. Religious people? No. But they do exclude disabled people. The Canada Healh Act clearly states "injured workers" are not covered. This has caused the death of many a Canadian. No treatment and suffering in excrutiating pain for years. Legal rights are also taken.
I'm in the US and this speaks to my reality, too. I used to live on the south shore of Lake Erie, and I'd drive by memorials to the War of 1812 and think "If it had only gone the other way, I might have health care now!" Now I know who to thank.
