@bbdhrggl in a month I wil do an exam for a musical high school (I'm 13 and I never took piano lessons).... I would like to present True Colors (Cyndi Lauper) and this piece... Do you say that is so simple?? I'm afraid to no pass!!
@ClaraMusic98 This aria sounds simple but it is not a beginner's piece. If you play it well you would impress. sorry i do not know the lauper piece. don't be afraid. just do your best and all will work out fine. good luck.
Thank you so much for this tutorial...you are a life saviour. I`m learning the piano by myself and I`m struggling with Bachs notation, I mean the unknown funny pictograms in it... I rather thought I must give up on the ARIA before finding your video here. Thanks again for helping me to learn this most wonderful music.
Just wonderful. You show such respect for the music, whatever the level, I still struggle with what you call level 3 but your love for music is, well, inspirational so I keep at it. Hope all is going well and you find time to play just for yourself. alkuhn1
A request from a user Sweden or the country Sweden? Anyway, Sweden salutes you!

@TheStormFinder the aria is the simplest of the set. a 5th yr student should be able to learn it quickly

Is there a source for the statements in the tutorial? Why did Bach not write the ornaments out?

@CaseyRocky Dr. Hans Bischoff (noted in tutorial panel) is a Bach scholar. Answer to your second question is best Googled.

I just noticed that Barenboim plays it different (e.g. in the last two beats)
But apart from that: Very helpful! Thanks!

@TheStrongheart Barenboim plays differently than Gould. You will have your own style too.

@TheStrongheart Oh, another fun note. Gould plays it differently than Gould. Compare his two versions.
