The doubters need to shut the hell up and try to understand this is not an all out gung-ho guns blazing action movie. Its a psychological, sci-fi thriller. Its been made to f*uck with your mind. Just like the original Alien movie did. The notion of being alone in space, where nobody can hear you scream for help, where the possibility of being impregnanted by an alien ceeature and having its offspring explode out of your chest cavity is very real.

I'm guessing prometheus will be this and more..

I swear to god if you guys are going to keep complaining about the Movie not having xenomorphes and the marines. I am going to bust a fucking blood vessel and drown you guys in my blood puddle. Face it guys no one in Hollywood is going to bring that back. The only thing you'll get is Aliens: Colonial Marines. Yes its a video game, learn how to play. So suck it up people. I think the movie is going to be good and different for a change.

...these are my requirements for this movie to be a blockbuster. Nice and Slow story. Minimal CGI. Alien that looks like the Alien, not half Alien/Human hybrid. lots of TechnoBabble. kool looking tech items. have at least one Hot female. have the obligatory "black guy" that gets killed off early in the movie, LoL. ALOT of Action! has to be as scary as ALIEN (must be rated R). good Soundtrack is a must. toys from the movie for kids/adults. have a scene where an Alien skull crunch JarJar Binks!!!

@moviebuff383 Yes and no. Ridley hasn't really answered that question with specificity. All we know is that the alien "DNA" can be mixed with any species it impregnates and most are assuming that it's a space jokey version of the alien, which would make it much larger and more terrifying.

Very unnatural Holywood terror-scream. It will never be like the Alien1 !

in Alien1 you feel as if the actors are not acting. You fell they they LIVE THIS FUCKING TERROR FOR REAL !

But in this trailer I could not identify the magnificent terror in their eyes and faces. Pretty much a today's wooden reaction of terror from a 2 second ACTION- CUT ! it's a wrap.

@N9olan The black guy the way he screams is so fake ! You can't hear the scream because you can only listen to the sound of the trailer's sound. But the expression is so fake, so Holywood, so wooden.

And some girl inside also had the same scream expression. It felt as if the director said "SCREAM NOW TO CAPTURE IT, and then let's go for a coffee break".

I hated that. The screams were not emerged as part of the total horror of the whole scene and it became a Holywood movie!

@HONDAEGYPT Isn't the black guy Idris Elba? He's a great actor. Wait until you see the film before you say dumb shit. Besides, you don't even know the context, if it was a horrified scream (in response to seeing an Alien) or more of a war cry (like piloting a ship through mayhem). Not to mention the scene was only showed for about 1/2 second and his 'scream' probably wasn't even complete. Fan boys want to nit pick everything.
