I always hated how Bruto was paralized there. He was one of my favorite character and I remember that when I was a kid I almost shouted at the TV «A door? He fought thousands of bugs and in the end he get defeated by a door?» Its especially annoying cause I know they just did that because Rico needed to be the sergeant instead of Bruto and they coudnt find any other way to get rid of him.

There is a Series listing for this that has the episodes in order. Better than presumably jumping right in the middle of the series.

On the BATTLEFIELD Higgins is useless, I like him because he is the "ethicist" of the team. In Flesh and Blood Higgins was the least prejudiced toward the robot. Also, when every else on the team is NEARLY invincible (Goddard, Rico, and most others have been hurt or in trouble at some point), but Higgins is human. He always makes mistake and he always learns from them. Higgins is the one dynamic character through wich the audience can view change. I love Rico, but Higgins propels the story!

Maybe the rank of lieutenant in the mobile infantry is the same as the rank of major in the fleet. Kind of like how being an ensign in the Navy is the same rank as being a 2nd lieutenant in the other three service branches.

nahg...I think they just fucked up, but no biggy. There was a similar problem with Rico after this. His stripes keep changing from Private to Sargeant scene to scene. Probably because they couldn't afford to re-render his character models for every scene.
