this guy does so many other things. When you take into consideration that this is not all that he does, he's actually GOOD. I just saw him doing some other stuff and I'm like I can't even see why he's remotely interested in basketball.
you have to watch ur footwork especially when you coming off the screens your mimicking being chased the defender is more that likely trailing so just go with the open step your doing to much practicing bad footwork = traveling violations just some constructive criticism
good video but he needs 2 crossover faster. how r u supposed to trick some body movin slow u need 2 go fast to b able 2 get 2 tha basket. or b able 2 back away 2 shoot. but looks like your tryin hard so keep it up
hey nice drills. but quick question tho.. how do you work on the follow-thru for that opposite hand layup u did in the beginning?? i feel so remedial doin it, so i'm tryna see if its somethin i'm missing??
You're good don't get me wrong but Ì can point out a couple things that you're doing wrong. First as you're jabbing and going to the hoop you leave your pivot foot almost everytime before you take your first dribble. You should try and work on consciously taking one dribble before you leave. Easier said than done of course lol I make the same mistake in games at times. Also try to incorporate head fakes with your game, it seems kind of stiff if you know what i mean. Other than that keep it up.
bro i am not trying to say any negative stuff on your video. but when you were doing that footwork drill. You seem to travel a lot but it is not uncommon though. most point guards or any ball handler tend to do that and therefore gets called for a travel. What im talkin about is your first step before you dribble. The ball is suppose to be on the floor already before you step forward. I mean its just my observation. but good Vid post though. I am learning or trying to better my PG skills as well
@ odub & arriesgarse: most of the drills were the first time I did them so I wasnt going full speed the entire time. This video is more geared towards showing the drills than Me specifically, If I do them now its a huge difference. Thanx for the feedback!
yeah, I gotta say that this isn't anywhere near professional level... keep working, but you need to go with a lot more intensity, and most of all SPEED. You look like you're just going through the motions. you need to be doing drills AT GAME SPEED. practice makes bad habits if you don't practice to simulate real game situations.
professional? point guard? this is very amateur two guard drills.. your dribbling is erratic and high, you need to keep your head up instead of looking at the ball. sorry man just being honest here, but keep up with the good effort
Nice drills but I see a weakness in his jump shot. He hit a couple of his shots perfectly but the way he regularly shot the ball defenders would really cancel him out of a game. Keep practicing I guess.
glad i could bring a smile to your face...besides it's called being realistic lmao...i've played the game at a high level...there's no fluidity in your movement, none...i'll be looking for ya in the nba someday...good luck
okay i'm sorry and i don't mean to be rude, but the reality of the situation is this guy can't even play a lick of basketball, so the drills are irrelevant and look horrible.
At least 4 of the 5 moves from 2:19-2:49 are traveling. The right foot is immediately set as pivot, but then moved before ball is dribbled.

I like the jab step behind the back, then step back shot. (between cones) thats hot

On most of your jab step moves you seem to travel. Try not to pick up the pivot foot, good job though.
