I knew a young girl from my hometown: Azusa, CA. Rosalynn Claudio. In 1995, she died from Kidney cancer and the one thing she wanted to do before her death was to celebrate her Quinceanera, which the whole school pitched in by doing a talent show to raise the money and with sucess she got to celebrate her special day, early and a year after her death they did it again and even created a memorial fund in her honor to City of Hope Hospital and The Make a Wish Foundation, because of her legacy.

This song was on SCC's album "Dive", which came out late '99, I think. On it, he wrote about this song and the inspiration. Everyone thought it was for someone at Columbine, but in reality a very close friend's daughter was killed in a car accident, and he wrote it for them. I think its awesome though that it can apply to HIS daughter as well.

ya he was killed just on the 13th of march this year to a hit and run driver. he was walking across the street with my boyfriend and other friend. my boyfriend friend saw him get hit and killed to the unknown driver. thanks you r n my prayers too
