Actually the screen isn't all that bad, and even if you end up not liking the screen size, there is always room for an external monitor. And it runs games just fine, I can get 35 to 50 frames on mw3 with medium settings.

Great laptop - really want to get it and hopefully am... only downside to it is that there is now dvd drive but you can just buy a good one for £25, also that the 11.6 inch screen is a bit too small but there is a HDMI so that you can hook it up to a tv or someting. really good and cheap - great for its price

Very disappointed by this laptop. I got it 3 days ago and so far it crashes when I play Portal and it cannot play starcraft 2 unless on LOWEST possible graphics and even then it crashes or freezes.

Dell tech said the MX11 does not meet the minimal requirements, the basic MX11 mind you, for Sc2 and Portal.

I would getting the error message "Low paged pool memory" during sc2 and portal and "Display driver froze" when I would just open control panel... Tech support was very very unhelpful. They are now sending me a brand new one free of charge since I complained enough times within 2 days. So I REALLY hope this works as I want to like this machine.

@tofoskater You can get something much better, a little £100 more. There's a laptop from MSI which is very good, MSI GT640. I'm using mine right now, played Crysis and HL2 on high and the highest settings. But if portability is what you need, get the m11x then.

Depends on the game. Although it probably wont do what you want it to do. The GT330M is great for running games, but it's a mid range card, not high range.

So no, the average game will not run on high settings, especially while recording.

I love mine, it kicks ass. If you don't like the size, don't get it. For those of us who have used a netbook a lot and are used to them but are tired of the limited performance and if you like something more snazzy than your typical netbook or ultra-portable, this thing is simply amazing. Nothing has failed to run on it yet that I have tried. I even got the pcsx2 emulator running nicely on it and thats with the SU7300 processor. Also looks great on my Samsung 46" through HDMI.

I have heard that the screen is suffice for gaming. Though if the screen size issue really does bother you, you could just hook up an external monitor. (though be aware, if you get the M11x with i5 of or i7 cores, you only get a HDMI port, no VGA.)
